What can be accessed without pullin the engine..?

Howdey howdey...

Sounds like a long and interesting conversation... on a job you have yet to begin... looks to be 10 "plugs" in all... 6 block & 4 head sized for your engine: Yes accessable... but pretty difficult

KIA 1996 SPORTAGE 2.0L L4 DOHC Expansion Plug / Set.
(
rockauto and autozone links will be added below)

Informational purposes:
Freeze, Fost and Expansion plugs although popularly know by such names are merely SOFT or CASTING plugs...(holes that are used to clean out the "CASTING MATERIAL" from the manufacturing process.

They were never intended to be any kind of CLEVER pressure release for DARING & COURAGEOUS in our midst... who REFUSE to use anti-freeze. There is absolutely no GUARANTEE
the block HAS NOT BEEN CRACKED or RUINED by freezing.

If ice forced out the plug(s)... you MIGHT get by... replacing one but if they are corroded... they tend to all corrode... Corrosion and electrolysis are not indiscriminate... They will destroy everything. Yet another TRAVESTY that could have been prevented with fresh, clean anti-freeze.

Pulling the engine is the most efficient way to do that job.

For the world of folks that WANT to try to get by... there are rubber
plugs that can be used in lieu of the proper CASTING PLUGS.

Check out the plug removal tool... and the BOLT TIGHTENING RUBBER PLUGS shown on the URL (immediately below).

Hope this helps!

Winterize vcross 365 fifth wheel

I think you have posted this several times so I wanted to add this.

The best thing is to have a dealer do it. You need to know if you have by-pass kits installed, depending on what you have for storage tanks they need to be drained, RV non-toxic anti-freeze needs to be added to plumbing and flushed through, water lines should be blown out along with draining so if there is a place where the water was level it gets forced out.

Here is a quick info for a skyline, but it really depends on what you have for plumbing.

Purchase 4-6 gallons of RV approved, non-toxic anti-freeze.
2. Drain all tanks, fresh water and sewage tanks.
3. Turn water heater by-pass valves to by-pass position. (The by pass valves are located near the
water heater incoming lines - an access panel may have to be removed depending upon the
model.)
4. Drain water heater.
5. If installed, remove water filter from assembly and discard. Install diverter if included.
6. Pour an amount of RV non-toxic anti-freeze into the fresh water tank to fill the tank above
minimum water pump operating level. (Use of a long funnel may be helpful) Add more, if
necessary, during procedure.
7. Turn on pump switch and open the cold water side of all faucet fixtures. Leave open until the
anti-freeze comes out (generally, pink in color). Repeat for hot water side.
8. Flush toilet until anti-freeze begins to flow into the bowl and then pour one gallon of anti-freeze
down the toilet to winterize the black tank.
9. Pour anti-freeze down each shower/tub, lavatory sink, and kitchen sink to fill p-traps.
10. To winterize gray tank(s) pour one gallon down each related sink drain.

*****Now the best thing is to post a new post and see if someone has your manual to be exact.

But if you get no response, and refuse to let a dealer do it, you have a little bit of info to help you.

Sorry I couldn't find the exact method for your model.

If the car uses anti-freeze without leaking, it is going out the tailpipe. You either have a bad head gasket or a crack in the head or block.

You will have to replace it the gasket kit cost about $100.00 make sure you but the Fel Pro gasket kit it has been redevelope and made from steel rather than plastic. Engine warms well, heater fan blowing well, but very little heat comes into cab

It could be one of two things.
1. Bad thermostat. Your thermostat is pobably not opening when the engine warms up. Install a new thermostat and you should be OUT OF THE COLD. If not,
2. Your heating core and radiator is probably clogged. One way to solve this is. Flush out your radiator with radiator flush kit. Pease read your owners manual, (YOU NEED TO USE A SPECIAL TYPE OF ANTI FREEZE). If you use the the green color Presotne anti freeze, It will gradually corrode through the linings of your radiator. And the green color prestone anti freeze will blow out the radiator. So read your owners malual ( I beleive it says you have to use Dextron Anti Freeze ( Pink Color).. Replace your thermostat and flush out your radiator. Then refill your radiator with dextron anti freeze. Also make sure the anti freeze resivor is filled to the proper level.. Once you do all of this, YOU DEFFINITLY WILL BE IN HEAT.. YOU CAN DO THIS YOUR SELF ( iT WOULD TAKE ME NO MORE THAN 1 TO 2 HOURSFOR ME TO DO THIS IN MY DRIVEWAY) OR YOU CAN HAVE THIS DONE AT ANY QUICK LUBE LOCATIONS... HAPPY MOTORING
