I do not mean this as an insult but since I have seen it before I have to ask if you put the chain on backwards?

Other then that I know that if you hit dirt, even with a new chain, it will dull it quicker then anything else.

SOURCE: The chain has come off my bosch ake 40-19e

first loosen the bolts that hold the bar in place. then find then loosen the adjustment screw. Once it is loose, the chain will go back on the bar. Then tighten the chain so there is only about 1/8" movement. (You will want to tighten the bolt so they are snug, when you are tighting the chain) Once that is complete re-tighten the bolts completely.

SOURCE: I need a chain for my ake 40-19 S chain saw. What

I tried a Google search for "Bosch ake 40-19 S chain" and found many on-line outlets. If you take your chain (they need it to use as a pattern) to a local saw shop or a good hardware they can probably fabricate one in a few minutes and you will save the shipping and handling costs.

SOURCE: my bosch ake 35s isn't cutting, what's wrong with

Chain has dulled. Needs sharpening.

Hitting one little imbedded rock in the wood and the chain can be dulled to the point it only burns the wood.

Replace the chain or have it sharpened.

Take the cover off, Take the bar off. Clean it out. Put the chain around the sprocket. Put the bar on. Put the chain around the bar. Tighten the chain a bit. Put the cover on. Tighten the chain.

Whats the difference Bosch 1.1 mm chain for AKE 40 / AKE 40-17S / AKE 40-18S / AKE 40-19S Chainsaws

None that I can find. All are .375" low profile, 57 drive links, Gauge of .043". I have only seen .375" (3/8") LP with semi chisel style cutters.

Ake 40 18s chain keeps coming off when in use

The only time I saw this was when the saw was run with the chain too loose. The chain should be snug al the way around the bar. If it is run loose for too long the chain will develop burs on the driver links. Now the driver link will not fit in the groove on the bar so the chain is tossed off. Replace with a new chain

Can I fit a 1.3 mm bar and chain to my Bosch AK40-19s chainsaw

as long as the pitch of the chain is the same as the nose wheel of the bar, then the gauge does not matter as you are fitting a bar and chain with 1.3 gauge.

I have a bosch ake 4o Chainsaw I live in Crete what no oil do I use, I cannot get bosch biodegradeable oil Here

sae 30 will be ok in the oil tank to lubricate the chain, most manufacturers will recommend bio oil as we live in a green age, mineral chain oil has a non fling addative so as the oil lubricates the bottom of the bar where most cutting is done and not just fly off the end of the bar.

Which oil do you use for the ake 40 bosch chainsaw

Hi,

You might miss someone answering your query as it is posted on the washing machine list!
I would re-post on the garden area.
Also state which oil you require- for the chain itself or to mix for a 2 stroke engine.
(actually for my Husqvana I use any of the 'normal' 2 stroke oils and any chain oil- very thick stuff!).

Cheers,

AKE 35-19 Pro Bosch chainsaw used copule of yime worked fine this time isnt cutting chain and blades going round and tension seems to be about right

Has the chain and bar been removed-- if so, make sure the teeth are cutting toward you on the bottom run of chain. Also, make sure the chain is properly sharpened. Hope this helps!
