Kenwood DDX 6019: does anybody know how totrouble shoot this; just re-install my kenwood but my cd player will not work nor will my amps power turn on but my tuner would turn on so will my amps but not loud enough. I have dis-connected every wire/cables even the amps and battery positive cable and still no sounds in dvd mode. I pressed the reset button and even went to the

Could be the ribbon cable from main board to the face of radio?
I found one on pacparts.com
Im gonna order it and replace it myself...
Verify that you used the "blue" remote wire from the radio to the amp. Some new stereos will have a dim light wire as well(pink) i think. Hope it helps.
the double din kit was restricting it from opening properly, once i removed it from the kit it worked properly. i had to modify the kit for it to work properly!
i forgot my password to my kenwood ddx-6019 dvd player and the codes that you listed didn't reset it is there any other codes that might work??? or is there like a reset button that i am supposed to push please help me out same problem

it sound to me like you have a broken connection on yourvideo out jack on the main unit becouse you say the lead is fine and the tv screens work with another unit.this can be caused by the plug being pulled out in a wrong angle. ask an audio dealer to chech the solder connections in the unit to see if they are making a connection with the pcb(printed circuit board. hope this helps
