Unable to turn TV via power button or remote. Nothing happens, no lights, no sound nothing. Its like the power is not getting to it. I've tried a different cord, and have taken it apart and do not see any bad capacitors. Anyway know a way to figure out what part went bad?
The power supply regulator section is not working properly. It will be best to replace this board as card basis rather than trying to make it right. Philips have used some special numbered components there, which are very difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. Contact the nearest authorized service center for Philips to buy a new board.

hello, amigo if the all the caps are godd then you have to replace the power supply board. don't try to fix it this is not an easy task. you are looking at almost $200.00 with tax an shipping. just go to google and type your tv model # and ask for the power supply board or just look for the part# on the board itself. good luck

OK this is a classic switchmode power supply problem There is a fault either IN the SMPSU, OR in another part of the set, usually a short circuit. The PS, is "Shutting Down" for safety reasons, so as to avoid a possible fire, explosion etc. You really need to have this looked at by a qualified person. before you get any work done, always ensure you get a firm "Quote" before proceeding. This is very common.
