Faulty power supply unit?
You can contact the manufacture to purchase the power supply module.
However, there are other boards in the set that can easily cause the power supply failure because something went defective. It is also possible that the power supply is not defective, but it is in protect mode because of a failure on another board, or in some other device in the set.
The tech would follow procedure from the service manual using the proper instrumentation and diagnostics to determine the defective board(s). Then he would replace the necessary modules and or parts to get the set working again.
In the end if you try fixing this yourself, you can end up spending a few hundred dollars on a power supply and only find that it blows again or goes in to protect mode because the original fault was not determined and corrected.
