How do i re-assemble a makita 18v cordless drill

I opend my makita cordless drill because i was using it at work and it started sounding like something broke I found the problem and fixed it but I cant close it properly and I dont remember where one little metal pice goes to can you show me a diagram. its an 8v lithium-ion cordless drill from makita the new ones with the small battery.

Go to makita website and download the tool parts digram or search for same on google. If your tool is old then look for tool with similar specification. Most of the parts are identical.

I HAVE A MAKITA 18V BHP451 AN THE SPINNING BARREL AT THE BACK OF DRILL KEEPS BURNING UP, HAVE REPLACED ITEM WHICH STILL SEEMS TO BE DOING IT

Check out ereplacementparts.com and type in your model eg bhp451 they should have an exploded diagram.

The screw point got stuck inside of the makita

Low quality steel drill bits get stuck in the Makita because the hammer impact squashes the metal, forming a ridge that gets snagged on the anvil's steel ball bearing. Use only impact drill bits.

14.4 MXT grinding under pressure

there is a collar inside the clutch assemble that probably has the top of the teeth worn off. Unless you find a service center that has saved some good ones you probably will have to replace the whole clutch assembly.

Makita cordless driver drill model-6347d. ni-mh rechargeable nickel metal hydride battery 1834 18v 2.6ah will not stay charged. battery charter dc 1804- works great.

You say will not stay charged? Over what time period? Are you aware Nicad and NiMh rechargeables discharge naturally at 1% per day so where does that leave your power tool after 3 months? Furthermore they only have around 1000 charges in their useful life so you can immediately see how these tools are not for intermittent(ie handyman) use.

Makita LXT 18v cordless Jigsaw: Does not work, the battery is loaded the light turns on when i press the trigger, there is a noise but the jigsaw only moves slightly. Any clues? it is brand new.
