I deleted my ios in my flash drive . it went to rommon mode ... hw can i reload the router into flash. I cant assign IP address for router
Basically you will need to use TFTP to get the IOS back on. HERE is an article from Cisco that explains how to do it. I have done this before and even though it takes a while to reload the IOS (because in my case I had to use a serial connection at 9600 baud) it does work.

Hi managobinda,
Try booting from a usb flash:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/1800/1841/software/configuration/guide/b_rommon_ps5853_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html#wp1064046
** make sure that the image that you are loading is not corrupted
If still no good, try xmodem:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/routers/access/1800/1841/software/configuration/guide/b_rommon_ps5853_TSD_Products_Configuration_Guide_Chapter.html#wp1044991
Hope this helps.

once in enable mode, goto config mode. then select interface, i.e. f0/0 and then type in the following:
ip address x.x.x.x y.y.y.y where x is your IP address you wish to have and y is the subnet mask
example below:
router#config t
router(config)#int f0/0
router(config-if)ip address 10.0.0.1 255.255.255.0
hope this helps!

3. When you reset the router in your console window you will see characters that you cannot read. You have to stop the session and set your baud rate to 115200. This will let you increase the speed that you use to transfer the file.
4. At the rommon prompt enter xmodem -c {filename}
5. When prompted, enter y to continue
6. From your hyperterminal prompt, click on transfter then send file
7. Select the IOS image then change the protocol to xmodem via the dropdown box then click send.
8. After the IOS has been downloaded, change the boot order by using the confreg 0x2102 command.
