If you have replaced the HV control board on your Maytag MFI2067AES refrigerator and programmed the code from your refrigerator, but the code is not being saved, there could be a few possible causes:
Wrong board: It's possible that you may have installed the wrong control board for your refrigerator model. Make sure to double-check the part number and compatibility before installing a new control board.
Improper programming: Make sure that you are properly programming the control board with the correct code. Follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully and ensure that you are entering the code correctly.
Control board issue: It's possible that the control board itself may be defective and is unable to save the code. Try resetting the control board to factory defaults and reprogramming it with the correct code. If the issue persists, you may need to replace the control board again.
Other issues: There could be other issues with your refrigerator that are preventing the code from being saved, such as a faulty user interface or a problem with the door switch. You may need to perform further diagnosis or seek the help of a qualified repair technician to identify and fix the issue.
I recently had the identical problem after replacing the high voltage control board myself. Although display looked normal, no response to programming attempts. All I could think of was that the low voltage board under the display ppanel was also bad and was about to go out and buy it ($240 locally) when I ddecided to check its connections first. Took off the display panel, unplugged the 4 connectors, plugged them all back in. When I powered up the fridge, it responded to the programming directions and has been working normally except the ice-maker made one batch of ice and then just stopped. Now I have to try figuring that one out.

See the post on Samurai Appliance Repair Man's site http://applianceguru.com/forum1/13035-1.html for instructions on how it's possible to fix the HV Controller Board power supply filter caps for $5 in Radio Shack parts (really!). You need to be able to solder electronic components, or know someone who can. There are 2 power supply filter caps that appear to go bad and the result is the blinking and flapping. I had the same problem and decided I could not wait for a $150 replacement back-ordered board.
Usually the owners manual would show the error codes so check there first. As for the compressor running, it "should" be cooling if the compressor is running. But lets go back a little, why was the HV board replaced?
I've tried, but I never get the decimal point...just PE0000 flashing
