Going to need that original remote, in closed captions area turn to off or one of the four CC that does not work in your area, on rare occasions the cable box if used can cause it also.

REMOVE SUB TITLES

Sub-titles are commonly available to be turned on/of or changed to various languages using either the equipment's menu tree, or the main menu setup, setting, options, etc. of the movie, game, or whatever you're viewing. If it's not easily found in a menu or video/viewing options (possibly audio) look for a button that is labeled 'SAP' and try that. good luck

Subtitles will not remove from t/v even when subtitle button is pushed on remote control

The sub titles are being generated by your Cable box or the Sat box. Sub titles are generated from two different sources: Cable Box,Satellite Box,U-Verse Box etc.
Check the settings in those sources and make suer the sub title is turned OFF in the tv set.

Sub-title does not appear.

It's called "closed captioning" and should be under the menu/setup button. Subtitles are only for DVD players.

Do you have your manuel? Hit caption on the remote control and it will say off on the screen. Then click again and select CC1. Just make sure you are watching a program that has CC. Some shows do not have that. Try a major network.
