Lost over half of the cable channels. How do I get them back?

Check and replace its main system memory IC.

just try the menu to auto program with signal connected to the set, try to use the remote to directly go to a channel, if that fails something is wrong with the set, lastly connect to the audio/video connections on the set if it has them to see if set works in that fashion.

Look in main menu, set is now in the air band which is 2-13 and you want it in the catv or cable band.

try pushing it in and wiggle it straight, if half is mashed push the other half in that should do it

sounds like the little button switches are leakey they are mounted to the board and are very small may need to replace them. They are right behind where you push the power on channl up down and so on buttons on the set.

You could try bypassing the tuner and use the rca inputs if you have satellite or cable box that works this way. Hope this helps

Make sure cable Tv is hook up directly to TV then go to the tuner menu and do an auto scan or auto search for channels that should fix your problem.

well first thing to do is this the only tv thats connected to the cable?
if it the only one
i would call the cable company and have them up the db level.
if you have more than one, you'll have a splitter that splits the cable that could be causing your problem, change it out will a new lower db one.
another thing could be happening is the cable connector on the end could be failing so have the cable guy replace all those too.

You have to have the original remote. Then go into the menu under channel set-up. punch in channel 3 press add. The punch in channl 52. then press delete. Or turn on the cable box and go to auto tunnin g and let it do its thing. Im sorry , but if you dont have the original remote with a menu button your going to have to live with your problem. Good Luck
