Only hearing sound out of left side of headphones

I have been having fluctuating issues with any headphones that I use from either the wired remote on these speakers or from directly connecting to the computer. I have tried everything I know. I have even tried installing VIA Audio Chipset Drivers (since my PC has a VIA motherboard) and I have tried installing a Realtek Audio Codec. Neither of these tries has resulted in stereo coming from the headphones. The weird thing is that I can hear beautifully in stereo from the actual speakers themselves but the minute I plug in my headphone (any headphones) I can only hear from the left. I tried moving the cable and this sometimes fixed the problem a couple of days ago, but recently it no longer fixes it. I would greatly appreciate any help you could give. I am at a loss and just want to hear from my headphones in peace! Thank you! Have same problem but hearing only from right side.

I connected the headphones directly to the headphone jack on the PC and it's working fine. Just when I connect throught the SoundBlaster volume regulator, where the other jack is, it happens. And only sometimes. After a few restarts of the PC it's gone.

I think the problem is in the jack of your sound blaster. since you have already tried different headphones and the problem still persist, and when you use speakers it works fine. i conclude it is the jack of your sound blaster card.

Boss oethe left side of my headphone is stop working

Hi,

The most common cause for this, is a loose wire connection to that speaker (as opposed to the speaker being faulty).

Has anyone pulled the cord too tight or tripped on the cord? If yes, then the internal wire connecting that speaker has an internal break somewhere.

Try the following:

1) Plug headphones into music device and turn on.
2) Gently press the wire 'in' at the left earpiece (or wiggle at the earpiece end). If sound returns intermittently, then you have n internal wire break in that end of the cord.
3) Gently press the wire 'in' at the plug where it connects to your player (or wiggle the cord at the plug end). If sound returns, then there is an internal wire break at this end of the cord.

In the case of broken internal wires, it is possible to repair.

Although very fragile, it is possible to resolder these tiny wires (you'll have to burn off the enamel coating around these wires first) back onto their respective connections, or onto a new plug.

Good luck....

Logitech cordless headphones model #A-00006 has problem with left headphone cutting out. Please help.

Hi All,

I have a

are Logitech Model # A-00006 and the wireless antenna unit is Model # A-00007.

Recently I am noticing that what is normally a stereo experience of listening while I am in on a Beacon conference call is becoming a mono experience (only the right earphone). Not sure if this is because of bandwidth fluctuations or a problem with beacon or a problem with my headset, but it doesn't seem to do it when I'm in a 1:1 call.

Odd thing is I don't hear it cutting out when I am making a direct call - only when it's a multiparty Conf call.

Thank you inadvance,

B1L

Sounds like your headphone's port on your phone is the cause.Try connect, disconnect and then reconnect the headphones for a few times to clear it up.
