Right click on desktop > Properties > Settings. Adjust here. If the slider is grey'd out the drivers need to be re-installed in device manager.

Hi, I am using MSI U100 notebook, having intel atom and windows XP as OS. For the past few days i have a problem and that is my screen resolution is 800 by 600 and i am not able to change to 1024by 80

If this only started a few days ago why not roll your system back to a date before you started having problems?

Click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore then select a Restore Point (date and time) that is before you started having problems. System Restore will not delete your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs (unless the program was installed after the restore point you selected).

It sounds like you may have a virus or infection that did something to your display driver, and the restore will take care of it.

I've clicked on Abode settings on my screen which I don't want how do I undo this please

What settings changed on your screen? The icons got bigger or smaller? If so Click Start/Control Panel and look for Display or Appearance and Personalization. Open the display and click the Settings Tab to change the Resolution. The higher the resolution, the smaller the icons. The lower the resolution, the larger the icons.

If that is not what you are looking for you can always run System Restore to go to a Restore Point (date and Time) before you made the Adobe change. System Restore does not delete your data.
In Windows XP and Vista click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore and select a restore point that was before you started having problems. There should be an option to see more restore points than the one that is shown.

In Windows 7 Click Start then in the search box type System Restore.

Again, System Restore does not delete your data, documents, music, pictures, videos or programs (unless the program was installed after the restore point you selected).

System Recovery on the other hand deletes everything and sets your system back to when you first purchased it.

Cannot change resolution on screen

Normally if you can't change the resolution to a level that is supported by your screen and video card your problem is going to be your drivers. Update your drivers and the situation should resolve.

Just purchased a refurbished optima ep716 projector won't synch-keeps rolling through search mode - I have it connected using the SCART setting.

Reduce the screen resolution of your computer monitor to 800 x 600 and check. Let us know the result.
Optoma is a SVGA projector. i.e. the maximum resolution supported by your projector is 800 x 600.

Satelite l655-s5154 my laptop is still under warranty. the resolution will not fit my tv.

You can change the resolution in your Display Properties... Usually you need to set it to 1024x768 or higher:

Go to 'Start', then 'Control Panel', then 'Appearance and Themes'. Then, under the heading 'Pick a task', click on 'Change the screen resolution'. On the 'Display Properties' window you will see a section that says 'Screen resolution'. Use your cursor to drag the bar so that you can select your chosen screen resolution.

If you wish for things to be displayed better on your screen, then selecting something like 800 by 600 pixels may be the best option, whereas 1024 by 768 pixels will give a smaller display.

Another option that you can select in the window is the colour quality, although this cannot be altered on some laptops. There are other options that allow you to alter your monitor, but you refer to your instruction booklet for these options, as that will give a detailed description of what each option does. There is a troubleshoot button in the 'Display Properties' window that will help you with any problems.

right click the screen and if using xp go to properties then display and change the resolution back to how you had it, possibly 800 x 600. If using vista right click and go to personalize then display and change the resolution from there.

Hopefully this will help
