Whilst on TV Mode: Open the menu and go to features then subtitle.
Switch off analogue subtitle.
Scroll to 1st subtitle and then scroll through the languages until "off" comes up.
Repeat for 2nd subtitle.
Usually, if the subtitles are from your dvd player, you can go to the main menu, select "languages" or "setup" (depending on the dvd), and find the subtitle option. You should be able to shut them off there in the menu. If the subtitles are there because of your tv, there should be a button labeled "cc" on your remote. If you press this key a few times, it should eventually read something like "cc off" on the tv screen.
I hope this helps, and good luck!
Sincerely,
Der Strom
The sub titles are being generated by your Cable box or the Sat box. Sub titles are generated from two different sources: Cable Box,Satellite Box,U-Verse Box etc. Check the settings in those sources and make suer the sub title is turned OFF in the tv set.
