Hi there. When i turn off my Yamaha MM6 and turn it on again, all the settings i've used before (reverb level, tempo, etc) are not saved, and i have to adjust them again and again. I've already tried to restore initial settings (pressing the highest key and switch on), but it doesnt work. Any solution? Thank you

the buzzing is indicative of an open ground connection, check the cord by substitution or with an ohm meter, if the cord is good look at the connections to the jack inside the amp ( im guessing you built the amp from a kit). Is this a solid state amplifier? Tube amps have lethal votages and should not be experimented on without knowledge of electronic safety. Also if there is more than one input to the amp try plugging the guitar into another one and see if its still the same.

It's a bit worrying that there is a buzzing noise from the amp - you might want to get it checked out to make sure you're not in danger of electrocuting yourself.
If you're sure the amp is safe try turning the volume up half way and dabbing your finger on the end of the lead, you should hear a change in the hum or it'll disappear altogether. If it does change or go, your lead is OK and the fault must be with the guitar. I'd suspect the lead first though - apart from the humming that you mention.

First thing is to verify the power supply voltage, including that on the board.
This can affect the threshold of the keyboard scanning and cause keys to not work although some other things appear to work.
Replacing that chip in the filed is not practical, so whole board would be considered the FRU. One can probably get one from Yamaha America parts in CA.
Before doing that, checking the scanning signals and feedback from the keys needs to be checked with a scope. Also verify that the analog power amp section is working.

There is probably a setting that is wrong. The left channel is the default for mono operation. Look in your user manual regarding "PAN" which controls the output going side to side. You MAY be "panned" clear to the right. When you plug into the left, it is the default so in spite of being panned right, they would send signal to the left IF nothing is plugged into right.

Usually that is a programed feature, but you can try the support center at the manufactures website.
