Hi,
I just got a Sony Bravia Z-Series KDL-46Z4100/B 46-Inch and DAV-HDX576WFBRAVIA® Theater System from Circuit City.
Here is my problem:
When i use the DVD player/Amp to play DVD, the sound is loud and perfect.
But when i watch TV/playPS3, the volume is low and i have to turn my dvd player/amp's volume to max to listen the same volume as my TV speaker's volume 25.
Here is my set up
DVD player/amp input<----RCA cable---->TV output
DVD player/amp output<----HDMI cable---->TV input
PS3 <---HDMI cable---> TV
My decode setting is Prologic on my DVD player
Seems like if I unplug the HDMI cable for TV<->DVDplayer I won't be able to play sound from home theater system at all too.
Do I have my set up wrong or having the wrong cable?
Please help =(

I had the same problem and I tried it with the TOSLink cable, it improved but not as good, I am wondering what else to do. If I switch to TV sound it is much louder than the sound from the home theater. I have the SONY 46W4100 TV and I thought they will sync well but, doesn't look like,Any suggestions about what else to do?
