Electric Blanket Control Blinks

The control of my electric blanket blinks and the blanked won't work.
I tried disconnecting it but when I plug it back on the blinking resumes.
This has happened to me twice before with prior blankets so I am afraid to buy another Sunbean blanket.

Used to work but doesnt anymore. I bought it for Christmas of 2015 and it no longer works. The blanket was great at first but it gradually stopped working. First it would stop heating in some places. Then most of them and then it finally just stopped working. The controller would start blinking error messages "E2" , "E" and "E3". I can't get it to stop this, and now the controller doesnt even turn on

Is no workig i needcramic heat control

1. you need a multi tester.
2. check the power supply of your outlet, or check the fuse or circuit breaker.
if has power go to 3.
3.open the back of your electric iron, the end of the cord or plug. then try to check the continuity of two wires if any is open. if its open or no continuity replace the cord or plug, either cut the only open wires and reconnect it again.
4. Or check the heating element of your electric iron if no resistance replace the heating element or you buy a new one.

Blinks and doesn't heat.

Could be a loose connection or a damaged cable. Try gently moving the cable and see if it starts to blink etc?

How old is it? Is it still in warranty Guarantee? If it is, take it back to where you bought it from and they should repair it or replace it.

Failing that you may have to buy a new one. Wallmart or similar have cheap electrical appliances

Sunbeam Electric Blanket Model 972 A5 Type 692 (or 592) with temperature control 1 to 9 with 75 mins and 12 hrs and off control positions. The light blinks red and the blanket won't heat up. Please...

Did you get helped last year? If so please ignore. Otherwise....

Hi. You can locate a Sunbeam Service Centre via http://www.sunbeam.com.au/Pages/Support/Repairers.aspx

You're looking at $69,95 recommended retail.

BTW have you checked that it's not the blanket? Swap the controls over, if the problem follows the control it's the control. If the problem stays on the same side of the blanket, it's the blanket.

Also note Sunbeam has a 3 year warranty on electric blankets. If Date Of Purchase is less than 3 years ago call 1800025059 option 1 to speak to their Customer Service,

Sunbeam 4267-000 not turning on just blinking red

"FF" or a blinking light will display meaning “Fault Found”. The “fault” is in the amount of power available to the blanket, mattress pad or throw.
There are several causes to this problem:
1. Bedding product is plugged into an extension cord, surge protector, power strip, or not plugged into a direct wall outlet.
2. Bedding product wasn't plugged in properly.

To FIX this problem, do the following to reset your bedding product:
1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical connection.
2. Unplug the cord from the actual bedding product itself.
3. Re-plug the cord into the bedding product. Make sure the connection is secure and complete.
4. Re-insert power cord back into a wall outlet.

If the 4 steps above are not followed in order, the bedding product will not properly reset.
