That's depends...First, do you have the password to log into the modem? it seems that the default is admin/motorola. If that hasn't been changed, you could log in and remove the WEP key.

AT&T has admitted that there is a bug on their database that causes their customers issues with their passwords. How they managed to mess that one up I'll never know.

In terms of getting a fix for it there's a couple things you can do before calling AT&T customer support:

Go through the "Forgot Password" process. Sometimes this will reset the issue, but it's a 50-50 gambit really. Many users report still having issues while some are able to log in. Furthermore, there is the possibility that you get caught in a password reset "loop" where each password reset requires another one.

Either way, this is pretty much your only option before calling AT&T's customer support. It's an issue that unfortunately a) is prominent amongst users and b) usually doesn't get fixed without talking to a support guy.

Login on another account that has administrator rights, then change or reset the password for the account you are having problem logging into.

Power On your router after after Connecting your adapter, turn on the router, wait for few seconds and then connect the router to your PC's Lan Card Port from one of the ethernet ports (not the labelled internet port). Open your internet browser and type in http://192.168.0.1 (if it doesn't work, use http://192.168.1.1) and press enter to open the page, once it's loaded, you'll be presented with the login page, in the USERNAME box, type in admin and leave PASSWORD blank (empty) and then press Enter. Once you are logged in, go to the admin section and change your password. If Admin panel isn't available, you can look for configure or change password.

Have you tried a blank password for the administrator. Just press enter when administrator pops up. If that does not work, try administrator. That should solve your problem.

Make sure that your internet connection is not intermittent,
try to log in again and check your password if the caps lock is activated - deactivate first, make sure you have'nt changed your password... if you still cannot log in, try using other computers with different internet provider, if still cannot log in: you will find a link at the yahoomail window that says "cannot access my account" click the link and follow the steps.
