SOURCE: Washing machine problem
Same - there's a company in Denmark which does brushes - you have to hunt them down on the web. The brushes come in a brass slider and spring, and sit in a rubber cage. Make sure you don't throw away any bits of the old brushes as you might need to reuse the old rubber cage.
Another solution (if you have the rubber cage) is to move the brushes along a bit and bend the metal tabs on the brass slider. That will give you a contact again - the machine will work for a few weeks or so, which gives you time to order the new brushes.

I have exactly the same problem. I am currently getting around the issue by letting the machine do the washing then at the end of that cycle do a manual rinse cycle.
SOURCE: Miele 435-plus washing machine Problem: water
There's a hose or tube that goes from the dispenser cavity to the tub that is likely clogged. Small clothing can be siphoned into the hose or tube and block the water path causing it to leak out to the dispenser drawer. Locate the hose/tube port in the tub where the blockage may be located, if not, you have to remove the front panel fully access and take the hose/tube out for inspection.
Disconnect power then remove the screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the machine and slide it rearward and off. Remove the dispenser drawer then the screws securing the console to the machine cabinet. Lift the console off then remove the screws securing the front panel to the cabinet. Slightly lean the front panel forward and disconnect the door lock and switch assembly wire harness. Remove the front panel and set it it aside. The hose/tube can now be fully accessed for inspection. Reassemble the machine in reverse order of the disassembly steps.
