Hi sjadl2840,

I presume you've already saved those pictures you want to keep in another location and you want to flush everything in the camera.

Typically, you have a button on the back with a little trash-can picture next to it. Pressing that will put you into Review/Delete mode. You will usually need to use the up/down/left/right arrow keys to navigate to select the photos you want to delete. Selecting the "OK" or "select" button will select that photo for deletion. You will typically have to confirm deletion for each photo, or before deleting all (if your camera provides that option in it's programming).

These instructions are somewhat generic; if they don't work for you, respond with a comment, and we can zero-in on your specific situation.

Beyond that, if I can be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it accordingly.

Thanks in-advance,

Jon

Don't have memory card and don't know how to or where to get one

The JDC31 uses SD cards. You should be able to find them at any department, electronics, or office supply store. You'll probably find them at most drugstores and supermarkets as well.

Make sure you get SD cards 2GB and smaller, not SDHC cards 4GB and larger. They look the same but SDHC cards will not work in the JDC31.

Can you delete a picture

Yes, but you need to refer to your camera's manual. Generally it is a menu item, and \you need to have that picture in the view screen when you find delete on the camera's menu.
