No, you buy a new facsimile remote or used one for that model. $30 for new, $7 for used.

You probably have a DVD jammed in there. Unplug it and take the screws off the top cover at the back. Plug the cord back in when you can locate the DVD tray and see if you can coax it out with your hand while a friend presses the eject button.

Try 147 - that is one for Sanyo DVD players.

Also try 003, 007, 010, 020, 053, 057, 082, 102, 187, 166, 187, 214, 266, 511.

Hope one of those works for you. Be aware though that depending on the remote you are using, it may or may not be programmed with the right code for this Sanyo DVD player.

I have the manual for the dwm-380 sanyo dvd with tvg.
Go to setup. Then Parental controls. Then scroll down to where you can enter a 4 digit code. To unlock and reset, enter 788444. I know this is 6 digits punch in all 6 then hit enter. This will unlock it. Next, you enter in your 4 digit number. This is your personal code. This may or may not work on other models. Take care.

I have a DWM 3000u that won't play some new DVDs. The movie is pixlated. Is there a firmware fix or do I need to buy a machine?
