Could be what you have the camera set at for how long the picture stays on the screen after it is taken. If the picture is still on the screen it wont take a picture until that picture has been stopped being shown. On my canon I have it at 2 seconds and I know at 4 it wouldn't let me take another shot so quick. Check all of your settings and read the manual.

SOURCE: memory card is full but there are no pictures on my camera.

Try using the "format" option in your camera's menu. That should wipe the card clean. There's probably a file or folder that the camera can't recognize as being one it created. You might also plug the card into a card reader and open it on a computer. The format option on the computer will also wipe the card clean to start fresh in the camera.

SOURCE: Camera says "Memory Card Full" but the card is empty...

Hi, First, lets try formatting the card. But be aware that it will erase everything on the card. 1 Turn on the camera 2 Press the Menu button 3 Toggle once to the left to get the Setup menu (the one with the hammer/wrench icon) 4 Toggle down to Format 5 Select OK and press the Set button. To perform a low-level format, press the up arrow and then the right arrow to add the check mark. After you do this, exit the menu by pressing the Menu button. Take some still photos first. Download them to the computer but don't delete them from the card yet. Disconnect the camera from the computer (or if you are using a card reader remove the card). Delete the images from the card by using the menu in the playback/review mode. Let me know if this solves anything.

SOURCE: New San Disk memory card not working

vebhat,
Make sure the little slide on the SD card is in the right position, and if it's a high capacity SD it might not be compatible with your camera...

Is the memory card locked? Is it bad? Are you using internal memory? First, see if the lock switch is on. Then try putting it in a memory card reader.

SOURCE: memory card capacity for my older canon digital camera

Does you camera use CF cards?
If so the may work but some of the newer high tech CF cards are made for newer cameras.

It may be worth a shot to try the 2GB card and if it does not work, sell to someone who uses those.

How do you export images from the Sony Cyber-shot haRD DRIVE TO THE COMPUTER

Its quite easy just remove the Memory card from the Cyber shot

put it into the card reader and connect with your PC and simply copy and paste the images from card to PC.

You can also connect the Cyber shot directly to the PC using the USB data cable given with the Camera. When you do this a new drive will appear in My Computer now just copy the images from that new drive to anywhere in PC

When on photo shoots camera will let me take a few pictures then gives a busy light and won't let me take another piucture until busy light goes off. I am missing alot of shots over this problem

The problem is that the camera can take pictures faster than it can write them to memory. It buffers a few in a high-speed memory location, but once that memory is filled, it has to be emptied to your memory card.

Your options are:
Use a smaller image size. Most cameras support small, medium, and large formats. Typically something like 2 Mpix, 5 Mpix, and 10 Mpixel images. Smaller images take less time to write to the memory card. If you are shooting in RAW format, this makes the problem even worse. If you don't know what RAW format is, you probably aren't using it.

Depending on the camera, it might support a higher speed than the memory card. SD is slower than SDHC, which is slower than SDXC. Check your manual and see what the maximum speed your camera can support and ensure your card is at least that fast. (IF the card is faster than the camera's ability to write, that doesn't improve things more than having a card as fast as the camera).

Be careful with your shots. There is probably an icon or counter that shows how many pictures left until if stops taking pictures. If something good is coming up, hold of on taking any pictures.

Buy a camera with either a bigger buffer or a higher speed interface to the memory card. I know, this one is a drag. My first DSLR could take only 9 pictures, then same problem.

the busy shot comes because the camera takes time to write the photo to your memory card. suggest you to get a class 6 memory card anything higher than that which has a ultra speed writing speed

I have canon rebel t2i,just got it few days ago,it was working fine, but now it wont take pictures,it shows busy sign,sd card has space, batery is full,I reseted camera to roiginal setting still nothing...

check your memory card your using witht he camera. 550d is memory hungry and needs a high speed DSLR grade card such as the sandisk ultra 2 or extreme cards. or lexar professional series. sounds like you may have a faulty card or a card thats designed more for compact cameras and mp3 players

WHEN I TURNED IT ON IT SAYS TURN THE POWER OFF AND ON AGAIN I DO IT AND IT DOES THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER

The light situation is not right for the setting you have on your camera.
Change the setting to "Auto" and try again. Re charge the bateries. Format the memory.

Canon XSI showing "busy" when taking multiple shots

It can be that your batteries are low and takes longer to charge the flash... It can also be that your memory card is a slow on. If the red processing light on the back of the camera is staying on a long time, it means the camera is having trouble feeding the picture to the card... You might try decreasing the picture quality a little...

Busy signal while taking a picture

Have you been taking shots in continuous mode (burst)?  The camera has a built in buffer of fast memory where photos are stored before being written to the slower CF card.  Once the memory gets full the camera will not take another picture unless some of the images complete transfer to the CF card. You will notice a number inside your viewfinder (bottom left) the number goes down when you take a picture that is how much space is left in the buffer when it hits 0 the buffer is full it will go up as the buffer clears.  Note that RAW takes up more space and fills the buffer quickly.
If you get the "Busy" message even after just 1 shot then there is something wrong with either your CF card or your camera and you should take try another card or it to canon for service.
