make sure that at the point where you add the paper for printing that you have the scale for the weight of paper in use
there is a small adjuster there
hi, sorry for the inconvinience youre having on this printer, but obviously, the printers rollers aren't good, there is a hardware issue on this part and you would need to go to a service center if they can replace the rolllers or better yet call epson to ask for the warranty option, if you bought it w/in 1 yr. they should replace it w/another unit, same model, txn
If this message appears when you turn the printer on it will need a repair, this will be down to a sensor fault.
If this message appears when you try to print Check you are using the correct paper type and size settings, on the printer if being used standalone or via the printer driver if using via a computer.
Also try using a different paper type and brand ideally Epson paper as it is an Epson printer. If the fault continues the printer will need a service.
As this printer was released this year you should be covered by some form of warranty, contact Epson for a service.
Couldn't fix the problem, but the Epson people have agreed to send us a new unit when the tech supprt people couldn't provide a solution. We are to send the old one back. I'm glad this happened while the printer was still under warranty. Hope this doesn't happen to someone else, but we're pleased with Epson's reponse.
