SOURCE: shutter jammed

Did you set the camera to M90 AFTER you installed new batteries? The camera will work without batteries in the B and M90 settings, but when you install new batteries, reset the mirror by turning the dial to M90. If this doesn't correct it, I wouldn't recommend opening the camera - take it to a repair shop.

SOURCE: shutter speed

shutter speed has nothing to do with battery power. If you have a SLR camera you use the shutter speed option when you want to have control of the shutter speed, slow shutter speed means if your taking a picture of a waterfall and you want to see the actual droplets you set a slow shutter speed, if you want it to look more smooth/flowing you set a faster shutter speed, if you do not have a SLR camera you probably dont have much say so in shutter speed...

Blurry focus of benq c850

Possible that you gat a slow shutter speed. Or your camera might be getting faulty. When the shutter gets damaged then the blurry focus wont change unless its fixed. The four main causes of blurry photos are:
  1. Out Of Focus
  2. The subject moves while the shutter is open
  3. The camera moves while the shutter is open
  4. Depth Of Field is too shallow
Unless its just technical or hardware you will need to visit a technician. or replace the Shutter.

Lumix camera broken shutter

The whole lens housing will more than likely need to be replaced, you will need to take it to a camera repair store, but the cost will probably more than a new camera replacement. I suggest cutting your lose and buy new.

Shutter brocken and screen cracked

Chuck it away and replace it.

Your camera is a budget model and has two of the three single most expensive components broken: it is beyond any hope of economic repair.

Shutter speed

When you set the camera to "Full Manual" mode, you should be able to dial in your shutter speeds, for most film cameras, including the N55 30 Seconds is the slowest shutter speed. If your camera features a "Bulb" mode, then the shutter stays open as long as you are holding down the shutter release button.

Shutter stays open-battery sign flashes but they are full..

This could be one of a number of problems, but first check the battery contacts are clean. These cameras rely on an elecrtic motor to drive the mirror and prime the shutter. The extra current drawn may cause the voltage to drop if the battery contacts are dirty.

Another possibility is a shutter fault, either the shutter has a sticky deposit or there is an electrical problem. Last time I had one like this I found a crack in the solder connection to the shutter.

Putting a new battery meants the camera will reset to a default setting. This means the shutter will be instructed to fire and the mirror return to it's initial position.

Shutter button lost

Most shutter buttons are plastic discs attached to a spring-mounted plunger on a circuit board. You might be able to purchase a used as-is camera of the same type. Try taking the body halves apart carefully on the as-is camera, remove the shutter circuit and then carefully try to replace the shutter button circuit board on your broken camera. Or if that's too difficult, contact the manufacturer or any reputable repair shop and get a repair estimate on the camera. If the estimate falls above the value of a new camera - you decide. Hope this helps.
