Hi
My Archos 1 Vision. Wont play a particular music file. It has played it amazingly fine since i bought it 3 months ago.
It was connected to my computer charging for a while, then i turned my system off so it was off for a while.
Wanted to listen to a few songs before bed, turned it on,selected Music,Scrolled down to the file i wanted,Went to select a song.........FROZEN!
I can turn it off but the same thing happens everytime i go to select something from this file
Please help i need music on my travels ;-)
Push the reset button on the back of your MP3 its a SMALL hole labeled RESET. Use a small object and insert it into the hole. Press the button and turn it back on
Try doing this: Toggle the hold switch and put it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple symbol should come up on the screen. Then it should work like normal. Hope this helps!
You can load video files onto your player by plugging the player into your computer. It should try to autorun at which point you should select view folders.
If it doesn't autorun just go to Start>My Computer>Removable Disk
Locate the VIDEO folder and put your movie files in it without any subfolders. Properly disconnect it from the computer, turn the player on, and press the menu button and select video from the list and play.
Prob need to format the player 1. put player in msc mode (settings menu under USB)
2. go to my computer and rightclick on sansa
3. format box: choose quick format
4. format complete, allow player to stay connected to computer for 10 mins
go to sandisk.com and under downloads, download the updater to keep this from happening again, put the updater on your computer so each time you plug it in, it will look for updates
make sure you do not put questionable files on the player such as itunes or mp4, as they will "bad track"
Hi Lil. After you have saved your music to a file in your computer, (my music) or any other place you choose, simply plug the device into your computer. It will show up in My Computer as something like Sandisk Drive F. The letter could be anything. Now find your music files, if your not sure where they are, play them in your song list and right click on the song, select, Open File Location. A new screen will open, select Files at the top of the page so that you can see your music on one side of the screen and your computer files on the other side. Now find your Sandisk there, simply left click on a song file, holding the button down on the mouse, drag the music file over the screen to the Sandisk, let go of the mouse button and the file will drop into your device. Your all done, the song will now be in your device, happy listening and singing your favorite songs!
