My Saeco vienna start to be very slow. Giving me the red blinking led. I have tested every thing and the only thing folty was the power for the Brew Drive Motor 33V DC was with only 7V DC. Motor graphit brush are ok, motor runs nice in my hands with the right power (30V DC). No problem at all with the mecanics brew drive. Can the Saeco Vienna Black Control Box 120V be fixed?
Hello,
Sorry but this device is specially made to be , so called , NOT FIXED!
You can still contact the shop/store where you bought the product and ask for a repair.
Change Power Ic
The power board is the problem, it is not delivering the correct DC current to the brew group motor, the board needs to be replaced and you can purchase them for about $100 on PartsGuru.com. Make sure you get the correct board for your model. We are a Saeco certified repair facility in Tampa, FL. And have been repairing them for over 15 years, and have ran into this exact issue before and replacing the power board is the only way to fix unless you are successful in cold soldering a new resistor in. Thanks and Good luck.

You must have 2 knobs in the bean hopper, or the grinds are more like French Press (very large grinds) If yoou just have 2 knobs turn the small one towards the minus (-) a little, and see idf that helps. If you hqve very large grinds you grinder has seperated and needs to be replaced.
SOURCE: Saeco Vienna leaking
We had this problem and it was overflow from a clog -- check the hole where excess water drains into the drip tray to see if it is full of grounds. Cleaned it out with a twistie tie and flushed w/ water. That stopped the water on our counter!
SOURCE: Saeco Vienna gear jammed
This has happened to me. If the problem is the brew group gear is in the wrong position, you can manipulate the brew group until it matches up with the drive gear in the machine. You'll know it matches if you can insert the brew group back in the machine full until it clicks.

Could be a number of reasons. If you "hear" the brew group moving in one direction, stop and then move again, then the microswitches are o.k. If the sound of the movement is low and/or slow ( slower that normal), the CPU/power board may be bad and needs to be replace. If the movement is as before (same sound and movement) but not lining up, perhaps the brew drive motor is bad.
To remedy this situation, an authorized SAECO Service Center would have to open your machine and replace damaged components. Contact Saeco USA Inc. to located a Service Center near you at 800-933-7876 (toll-free), ask for customer support, or contact SAECO via e-mail at : [email protected]

If you have the box the machine came in there is a key that kinda looks like a wine opener, use that to set the little arrow on the brew unit to the "N" letter, then the unit will fit into the machine.
