The front door switch or actuator is broken or the door may be warped .Have you tried putting pressure on the front cover? as this may help to indicate if the switch is faulty.

Their's a sensor that the Plug from the Finisher to the copier is not read, first make sure the "Attachment Kit' thats the part where when you push the Finisher to the Copier it Locks, their is a metal tab that sticks out and hits a "Sensor" if it doesn't hit the sensor it will keep telling you attach finsiher or close cover, if it's too annoying you can remove the finisher and unplug it from the rear. On the cover thier are alos sensors that need to be activated by tabs,MAKE SURE these are not missing if you do you need to order these items from "Koycera-Mita" Check those sensors

SOURCE: Kyocera Mita KM-2530 Laser Printer will only print the first page not the rest.

Try changing print driver and switch emulation to kpdl auto if not already there. If this doesn't work go to properties on driver under font and switch to bit map. Don't do this step unles yo have to it really slows down your printer.

Log into your pc as admin and under the driver properties change from kpdl to pcl5
Its a combo of a problem with adobe reader and the KPDL driver

T652n 202.03 paperjam

1Open the upper-front cover and remove the toner cartridge.2
Look into the printer. Remove any jammed sheets of paper that you find there.

  • If the print job only consisted of this one page, reinstall the toner cartridge and close the front cover. Press the pattlnk_10162008_2247-select_button.jpg button to clear the error, and then try printing again.

  • If the print job consisted of more than one page, confirm the entire paper path is clear before printing again. Do the following:

    1. Remove the top paper tray ('Tray 1').
    2. Remove any jammed or partially-fed sheets of paper you find here, then reinstall the tray.
    3. Go around to the back of the machine and open the upper-rear cover. Remove any jammed sheets of paper you find, then close the cover.
    4. Once you have confirmed that the entire paper path is clear, reinstall the toner cartridge and close the front cover.
    5. Press the pattlnk_10162008_2247-select_button.jpg button to clear the error, and then try printing again.

  • If you cannot locate any jammed paper under the toner cartridge, then check the rest of the printer for any jammed paper. Do the following:

    • Remove the top paper tray ('Tray 1') and look for any jammed or partially-fed sheets of paper.
    • If you do not find any jammed pages there, reinstall the tray and go around to the back of the machine. Open the upper-rear cover and look there.
    • If the entire paper path appears to be clear, close the rear cover and power off the printer. Reinstall the toner cartridge and close the front cover. Power the printer back on. If a 200 error continues on power up, a sensor in the printer may be malfunctioning. This will require a service call to correct the issue. When i try to print on my Lexmark 2300 it keeps saying scanner unit is open, but it isn't. I've turned it off and on opened and closed the unit but this hasn't helped

It could be the cartridges in the carrier. Please follow the steps below to identify and fix the problem:

1. Make sure the printer is on.

2. Open the printer cover. The print cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position, unless the All-in-One is busy.

3. Remove both cartridges from the carrier.

4. Close the printer cover.

5. Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power outlet to reset it.

6. When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first.

7. Close the printer cover and check for any errors.

8. If no error appears, reinsert the other cartridge. Close the printer cover.

9. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear with a new cartridge. You may also try to insert a different known working cartridge to determine if the cartridge you are currently using is faulty.

If the problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

I keep getting a close feeder error on my Km Kyocera 1530,how do i go round it

Assuming the feeder is closed and you are still getting the message to close feeder the one of your interlock switches are bad or not making contact.

Each cover that open and closes has a switch to indicate it is closed. Make sure when you close the cover the switch is being actuated.

To find the switch open a cover then start to close it and look for a piece of the cover that is going to line up with a hole in the feeder when it closes, this is normally where the switch is.

If you have a multimeter and know how to use it you can ohm out the switch to make sure the switch is working.

Sorry I can't be more helpful but this machine was not manufactured by Kyocera (it was just sold with their name on it) and I am not overly familiar with it and the documentation is not very good on the machine.
