That is fault code 131
131. (10000011) Phase 1 to 6 - Repetitive Rotor Position
Sensor Error
This fault is similar to fault number 130 above but differs slightly in that
it is a continuous condition. See fault 130 for service procedure.
130. (10000010) Phase 1 to 6 - Single Rotor Position
Sensor Error
The Motor Control Module has found an error in the pattern received
from the Rotor Position Sensor. Likely causes of this fault are a bad
connection on the harness between the Rotor Position Sensor and the
Motor Control Module, or a faulty Rotor Position Sensor.
Primary Source: Wiring.
Action: 1. Check for corrosion on the edge connector of
the Rotor Position Sensor and the Motor
Control Module connector.
2. Check the contacts on the rotor positional
sensor end of the hall harness to see if any
have been damaged. (Each set of contacts in
the socket has two wipers. If the distance
between these wipers varies between
different contacts, replace the rotor positional
sensor harness.)
Secondary Source: Rotor Position Sensor.
Action: Check the Rotor Position Sensor with an R.P.S.
tester. Replace if faulty.
Tertiary Source: Motor Control Module.
Action: Replace Motor Control Module.

What if the speed LEDs on the VR2/VSI begin to flash?

  • Determine if the battery charger is connected to the power base. When the battery charger is connected to the power base, a charger inhibit feature keeps the power chair from driving. This is indicated by the VR2/VSI speed
    LED(s) flashing.
  • Determine if the charger harness fuse has blown. A blown charger fuse can cause the charger inhibit to
    activate.
  • Determine if all controller connections are plugged into the power base properly. If the 3-pin charger
inhibit connector is not plugged in properly, then the charger inhibit feature will activate.

What is the fix for Pride power chair code 3101 bridge voltage fault?

The fix for this fault is to replace the chip in the VSI controller. This happens when you consistently drive the power chair with weak or low voltage batteries.

It could be a brake trip/free wheel
it could be a communication fault. This is usually an intermittent connection in the circuit. I would make sure all connectors are secure. The best way to do this is to disconnect and reconnect. Even do the ones going into the controller also.
if these do not help, you may need a tech to check it out. They will go thru the same process. The only additional thing they can do is get online with the controller with a programmer that will give them additional fault codes that sometimes can be more specific as to what the problem is.
I think it's most likely a brake fault. Make sure the freewheel on both motors are in the engaged/locked position.
Worst case, your controller may be bad.

Code 5 error

There are several different controllers used on this model. The most common is the PG Drives models. If you have 5 bars flashing on a PG Drives joystick this indicates an issue with the right motor. There is a known issue with the Pride motors in that the wire inside the insulation breaks, causing and open and the fault code. Check the motor with a meter at the connector. If it reads over 2 ohms or infinity then you need the right motor replaced... or rebuilt.

Blinking yellow wrench light on pride jazzy 614 HD

Your version has a Dynamic Controls model controller and joystick.
Unplug the charger and engage the motor/brake lever so the chair is no longer in free-wheel mode (con't push by hand)
Turn the chair off, wait 5 seconds, turn the chair back.
If chair still does not run and your wrench is flashing you have a problem. Count the wrench flashes - the flash count indicates the error detected. 3, 4, 5, and 6 flashes indicate and error with the motors.
3=Left motor fault
4=Right motor fault
5=Left brake fault (may not be engaged)
6=Right brake fault (may not be engaged)
Any other fault code usually means the electronics or wiring is bad and not worth fixing.
