I assume that you have deleted the old text messages from your phone.

try to go to your phone settings then look for the restore default setting,, if you found it then restore your phone setting to set all to default setting as when you buy it.
This is because when you send a text message it gets stored in the outbox and it wil be sent.As there is no memory in the phone the message sent cannot be stored up in outbox which says memory full.
Please delete the images ,music files from the phone memory so that you can sent the text messages with photos.
when saying memory full that does no mean the text messages memory is full it means the phone's memory is full, the messages are saved on you sim card so try deleting some app on you phone
