SOURCE: printer won't print

Make sure the ready light is on. Press the green go button.

Also make sure you don't have printing paused.

CONTROL PANEL
PRINTERS AND FAXES
DOUBLE CLICK ON YOUR KYOCERA PRINTER DRIVER
CLICK FILE
IF THERE IS A TICK NEXT TO PAUSE PRINTING, THEN CLICK ON PAUSE PRINTING
IF NOT THEN DON'T.

ALSO MAKE SURE YOUR PRINTER IS SET TO DEFAULT PRINTING DEVICE.

If all else fails, install the kyocera fs-1700 driver for the printer. it's a generic driver for kyocera-mita.

SOURCE: Kyocera FS 4000 DN printer stops printing for no reason.

Try the feed tires in the tray first. More than likely the paper is not being picked up and causing jam message. The separation roller also has a hub on it to prevent a second sheet from feeding. Sometimes these start to lock up ,a little oil on the hub sometimes relieves some of the tension.

It is not printing ms excel 2010 documents

Did you install Office 2010 32bit or 64bit version?
You may change the default printer to Microsoft XPS Document Writer and then try to print from Excel to check if it helps.
Refer the link below to know how to change the default printer:

When I attempt to convert a word document into an PDF file I get a message "missing PDF maker files" I'm given the option to say yes or no to "do you want to run the installer in repari...

From the info you provided, seems like your Adobe Acrobat Professional wasn't installed properly or there are some missing files.
If you have the installation file, try installing the software again.
(When you click on Yes, nothing happens because adobe cannot find the Installation/setup file on your laptop.)
If you do not have the Adobe installation files, as an alternative download CutePDF writer. Its free and hardly takes any space on your pc/laptop (<4MB)
Direct Download Link for CutePDF
Once downloaded, install the software and follow the steps below:
1. Open the Word file you want to convert to pdf
2. try to print it
3. before printing, the time when u have to select your printer, select Cute PDF Writer as shown in the image below
4. Click on print

drgirish_0.jpg

5. The Word document will be printed as a PDF file and you'll be asked where you want to save it :)
6. Choose your destination.
7. When the printing is completed, you can open the pdf file in Adobe PDF reader
* You don't need a printer to do this
* You can follow the same steps and print excel/powerpoint files to pdf (or any other file type that you can "print")
Hope this helped!

What is the procedure to print ms excel worksheet

Get your Worksheet Copy ready in Microsoft Excel. Go to Option and click on Print (if you are using MS-Office 2010) or Click on Print Preview (if you are using MS-Office 2007) to get a preview of your copy ( i.e. what you are going to print just now). If you want to print it directly, press Ctrl+P to get started with printing your copy and click on Print option (for both Office 2007 & 2010).

My printer worked fine until Windows 7 downloaded something supposed to make printers work even better. Now Word, Excel and Adobe files don't print. There is no error message. I hit the print button and it...

Contacted HP Chat support. After investigating a bit they had me add a new printer using the virtual USB port and designating that printer as the HP OfficeJet 6500 E709A series. I did so and made that the default printer. Immediately Word, Excel and Adobe documents were once again printing.

Open attached files from e-mails

If all you are wanting to do is read or print the email attachments, and they have been written using Word 2003 or Excel 2003, you can go to Microsoft.com and download Word Viewer 2003 and Excel Viewer 2003. These two viewers will allow you to read or print either Word or Excel documents as long as the original composer used Word 2003 or Excel 2003, or some earlier version such as 2000 or XP. To the best of my knowledge, Microsoft has not released a viewer for any of its 2007 programs yet.

However, if you are wanting to compose new documents, or edit the attached documents, you will need to have a copy of the program in question.

There is also one other possibility. You can go to openoffice.org and download a free copy of Open Office. I am not sure if the Open Office Suite is 100% compatible with the Microsoft Office products, but it should be close enough to get you by.

One other thing, if you are receiving .pdf documents, you can go to Adobe.com and download the latest version of Adobe Reader. This is also a free download and will allow you to open, view and print the .pdf documents but, again, in order to edit them you will need a copy of Adobe Acrobat (not free) or some other compatible program such as Open Office (again there may be some slight compatibility issues to deal with).

Hope that helps - Graye

I have a HP Deskjet 1300n printer. I can print my email, pictures and items off the internet, but cannot print any word documents or notepad documents. When I print an excel document, I get an incomplete page-the grid lines will print, and text garbage from a adobe program but not all the text. When I do a test print page, I get an incomplete text page, but do not know how to solve this. I have removed and reloaded the printer software-no improvement. There are no new drivers to be installed.

Can't Print!

First, I would suggest updating the driver from here. I would also download and install the patches and fixes for this printer. It doesn't sound as if it was installed correctly the first time.

Pdf to excel

Have you tried selecting the text, and then copying that text and pasting it into an Excel spreadsheet?

If the text is not selectable, using Acrobat's text selection tool, you will need the password to be able to access it.
