Open the back of the door chime and the button press.

On the back of both of them there is a set of jumpers.

From left to right there are 6 available frequencies. You need to grab to jumpers to join 2 of the pins together (top and bottom pin). If you don't have a jumper just use a set of pliers and cross the 2 pins together (top and bottom pins) on a channel you wish to use. Repeat the process for the button press if you've just done the door chime. The 2 pins that you've joined together needs to be the same as you've just done for the door chime.

Note the red jumper on the button press, selects the type of door chime you want to hear. this is the 4 right hand side pins on the button press. The far right is a long chime and second in from the far right is a shorter chime.

Hope this helps, figured it out by trial and error. :)

Thanks Shane, I can't access the 6 frequencies just 2 by changing the jumper on the door press. This gives me either a long tone or the shorter tone using the last 2 pin settings on the right hand side. I've laready tried moving the jumper on the door press but no other sounds are audible. What ami doing wrong?

The last 2 pins are for sound, short or long. The other pins are for the frequencies, by that i mean channels. They need to be the same on both the remote and the door chime.

Hi Shane, I am having the same exact issue. Crossed pins 1and 2 separately on both button and unit. Chime worked okay but the unit still picks up a false signal. I am wondering where can I get jumpers from as crossing the pins you cant see if they are contacting or not.

Hi Robert, You can buy the jumpers online. What your looking for is the following:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/25-x-Standard...

Why does my chime ring when next door has visitors

You're using the same channel. Change the channel the bell-push and the bell work on, by following the instructions that came with the bell and bell-push units.

Most sets it is impossible and will skip channel 3 and input. You will need to buy a cheap universal remote.

I have a Linksys Router, Model WRT160 N Can I strenthen its signal by changing the channel to either 3 or 9? I have an Apple TV device and the router is not strong enough to download Itune rented movies....

External antennas are available at the store, however, I recomend you bring your router to make sure you find one that will attach correctly. Changing chanels will probably not work unless there is another wireless device working on the same chanel causing interference. An antenna is very inexpensive and will work every time!

The doorbell buttons and your receiver must be on the same channel. If you will get out the directions that came with your unit, they will describe the process to go through to reset the specific "codes" for your buttons and receiver.

I changed the batteries on my door bell, and it still wont ring

Troubleshooting
Chime does not sound:
• Make sure the doorbell button and the chime codes are the same (See pages
2 and 3).
• Check orientation of doorbell button battery (See page 3).
• Check the doorbell button and chime batteries, replace if necessary.
Batteries seem OK, but the chime does not work when installed:
• Do not mount the chime or doorbell button on metal or near metal studs. This
reduces the transmitter range. Use 1/4" to 1/2" (6 to 13 mm) wood shims to
move the chime or doorbell button off the metal surface.
• Don't mount the chime too close to ground level concrete slabs. This may
also reduce the range. Mount the chime away from the floor.
• Try different locations for the chime closer to the doorbell button. Also try to
orient the chime at a different angle to increase the range.
The range of the doorbell depends on location, temperature and battery
condition.

I have a byron SX85R plug in wireless door bell, i need to change the frequency/ or code, keep false alarming, cant find the instructions , also with the alarm, is a batterie alarm no. SX81R, which came...

From User Guide: Interference from a similar unit operating nearby: a) simply remove the batteries from the push button and door chime units and rest for 10 seconds, this will erase memory b) Insert the batteries into the push button and door chime units, the door chime unit will give 2-beeps to indicate that it is ready for the new registration code. Press the Push Button once, it will generate a new operation code randomly and send a wireless ignal to the door chime unit and it will sound to indicate that new operation code is registered and memorised.
(Note with this unit SX85R the door chime is mains powered, not battery powered, but above instructions are the same)

Lg lcd tv keeps changing chanels

Come on, lets try to solve this. Take the batteries out of the remote so it can't interfere and try changing the channels and volume with the buttons on the tv. If this works then someone has spillled something onto the remote and gummed it all out. You simply need to take the remote apart and clean it out. If the buttons on the tv do th same as the remote did then yes, take it back.

Will the alarm go off or not?

Hi, alarms can be programmed to chime/not chime etc. Simple way is actually test it just to be sure. Set the alarm and try the door. If it doesnt work, then the door sensor could be faulty OR that chanel could have been programmed to be bypassed. Will require the user man for programming. Best of luck

Remote doorbell not chiming.

I would recommend replacing the battery in the remote button. There may be enough battery power to light the light, but it usually takes a bit more to transmit the signal to the main unit.
