Every time i try to record or watch any footage on my camera it will be ok for like 4 seconds then it alternates back and forth between R.EMG and eject. WHY is this happening to my camera and what does it mean?
Hello, The errors you are getting are "reel" errors. One or both of the tape reels are not turning during tape movement and the camera is shutting down to protect itself and your tape. In this model this problem is usually caused by the take up reel shaft being bent due to improper insertion of the cassette although this may not be the case. Please inspect both the takeup and supply tape reels and insure they are in correct alignment, if not, a gentle push to one side or the other will place them back in operating position. Hi, i had the same problem, and thanks your answer i solved it. But i got one more question. My camera also shows "protection" on the screen. And it also prevents me from any activity with the camera (samsung vp-d105i). I can use the camera only in playback mode. In rec, it shows "protection" also even without a tape inserted. Please help me out. Thanks
