My SWA -4000 finally linked up to my unit. The "Link" light stays blue, the "Rear Chx" is gone from the display, but I still don't get sound to the speakers. I swapped with working speakers & still nothing. What am I missing? Can anyone help?

My system was set up and worked fine for a year. This week, we moved the whole system to the opposite side of the room. Now, we cannot get the SWA-4000 unit to connect to the main unit. Blue light blinks for a minute or so, then goes to the red standby light. The main unit intermittenly shows teh Rear Check error on-screen. 0-1-3-5 does not work. I've tried the initial setup method and the reset method in several different orders, none of which have worked. If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it.

My samsung dvd player keeps flashing RCHK

If it's the home theatre system i think it is that error refers to the rear speakers in which the wireless connection is either unstable or not working at all. make sure to give more info when asking for help.

Hi, I have Samsung HT-X50 connected with SWA-4000. It was working fine, then for somereason I had to remove and reinsert Tx card. After doing that SWA-4000 is not connecting to HT-X50. Blue light blinks...

You have to reset the connection:

With the home theater system off, press the 0-1-3-5 buttons in that order on the home theater's remote control.

Power on the home theater system.

With the wireless module on, press the [ID SET] button on the back of the wireless module for five seconds.

If your home theater continues to display rear check after you have tried the steps above, call Samsung Customer Care at 1-800-SAMSUNG (1-800-726-7864). Have your model number and serial number on hand to set up service.

Hope this helps!

Just connected the SWA-4000 wireless amplified to my samsung ht-z310 - the readout on the display is "Rear Chk" there is no sound from the rear speakers- any help is appreciated

swa-4000 wireless module isn't compatible with htz310. You need to buy Samsung's swa-3000 to work with your htz310. I had the same problem. It tells you in your owners manual under conectivity where it explains about hooking up a wireless module(pg.55-60). I hope this helps.

Wireless speakers

Google "Samsung SWA-4000" The HTz310 is wireless "ready" only. You'll need to purchase this unit for about $100 to make your (Rears only) wireless.

Samsung SWA-4000 Wireless connection problem - Not connecting with main unit

I have had the same problem with the wireless unit and thought the same, it didn't work. The way to fix this is simple. You need to do the 0, 1, 3, 5 on the remote and turn on the home theatre system on the main switch on the front panel (as I was doing this on the remote, and it was failing). The blue light should then stay illuminated. If not just switch the main on/off button again, and it shoud work.

Problem with wireless conection between Samsung SWA-4000 and Samsung home theatre.

turn the main dvd player off, and press 0,1,3,5 on your remote, then turn on the player and the rear wireless receiver at as close to the same time as you can. should then light up the blue "link" light permanently.

Speakers

Test the speakers by changing source to the disc mode, and inserting a dvd into the HTS. If you get sound on all 5 speakers in DVD mode, then your speakers are still good. If you don't get sound on all 5 speakers, then press the "SURR" button to try the sound in stero, dolby, or other modes - one of these should give you sound on all 5 speakers. If you still don't get sound on all 5 speakers in dvd mode, then there is a problem with the speakers or speaker wires.

If you do get sound on all 5 speakers in disc (dvd) mode, but not when in TV mode, then take out the red and white AV cable, go buy a digital audio or SPDIF cable, and plug in the digital audio or SPDIF cable from the digital audio OUT of your TV or cable/satellite box to the "DIGITAL IN" of the HTS.

Press the preset/adjustment<> to change the current setting to five speakers. the listening mode will automatically change according to the number of channels you selected. Hope this helps. Radiotech
