How do you repair a sennheiser sk100 jack socket

I assume you mean the mic plug/jack. Bent pins or broken connectors will require a new jack and/or plug installed and they are not easy to do. These 3.5 mm jack connectors require both a light touch during install and soldering. If you're a pro then start shopping for a replacement 3.5 mm mono jack but be warned. The jack may solder directly to the PC board....which reminds me. Look for broken connections from jack to PC board..a common failure point and resolder as needed.

Left speaker not working

I don't believe it to be a cable or plug problem, so it sounds like it's a speaker problem. I look up the review of these and it could have some kind of circuit built into each side. If it does it could be that. As they are not cheap headphones by the look of it, perhaps worth repairing. But if the speaker has gone, it might be as much as a new pair.

Microphone of our ew100 failed due to stress at plug head. My attempt at repair has not worked. The very fine copper line, as well as the shielded core may have defeated my attempt. Sennheiser will no...

Hi, Sennheiser SHOULD still service these. I'd recommend having another go.

However, i'd like to clarify which part of your system has failed. Is this the locking jack plug on the ME2 / ME4 tie clip mic. A common failure point.

Or the antenna on a beltpack (also common), or something else?

They're both fixable, the locking plugs are available to buy now from other suppliers. And the antenna are just an m3 plug with a solder bucket in the top. A HOT soldering iron, and a bit of heatshrink can repair these.

If you don't have any luck then you can contact me direct and i'd be happy to have a look for you. [email protected]
