Tricity bendix keeps turning off !!

Can someone please help? my dw keeps turning off, it will run ok for about 20 mins then turns off !! i tryed using an extension lead but it still happened, anyone got any ideas? thanks Lynne

    yes there is power to the machine, it completes the rince and hold cycle, but when i put it on any 'hot' wash cycle after about 15-20 mins it just turnes off, when i press the reset button on the extension cable it restarts the machine, but it only works for another 10 mins before it turns off again. when i open the machine it is very hot !! is there a thermostat? and can i change it if there is one?

I have a 24 inch bendix dishwasher, 3yrs old, Everything runs OK on all programs , except the water does not heat up.

Assuming you still have power to machine, it could be that the main circulating pump has a thermal overload in it which is tripping off. can you give me more detail?

Replace a belt on a Tricity Bendix TM 320 W Tumble Dryer
1. remove top plastic panel (retaining screws are at back)
2. locate metal brace (12 incles long and 1/2 inch wide) on top of the cabinet (in mine it is on right edge)
3. unscrew retaining small bolts (there is one a few inches below on the inside of the cabinet too).
4. Repeat for left side.
5. push the back and front halves of the cabinet away from each other
6. slide the new belt around the front of the drum
7. reassemble
8. if you need to tension the belt wrap 10-20 turns of insulation tape around the idler pulley

If you have multimeter and can use / 1 wire = live feed 1 wire is switch, 3rd is a netural idea is door lock gets 240 volt live netural feed energises the lock which in turn switches feed over to other connection..look at interlock to get idea what wire goes where....
