Sony kdl52xbr9 it comes on i can see picture and sound for a couple of seconds, then it shuts off and blinks 6 times

Hi! and Welcome to Fixya!

Blinking red lights on the tv are error codes that explains hardware issues on the tv.

However, if after turning ON the tv and you will see the Sony logo on the screen before the picture goes off and then flashes red lights for a number of times, this could mean that tv can still be recovered. Try the option below to isolate possible issue with settings that cause your tv to shut off. Disconnect first all external devices from the tv

1. Turn ON tv first and wait until it flashes the red lights > press and hold down the UP Arrow button ( use remote control ) > while holding down the UP Arrow button, press the POWER button on the tv > tv turns off, wait until it turns on by itself > release the UP Arrow button when tv turns on

Note: reset is successful when you see a welcome screen on the tv and ask you to select your Language. This is the Initial Setup, just follow the on-screen instruction

If that solution did not resolve the issue then a service may be recquired.

Let me know if this helps!

Wd-73737 wont turn on blinking green light

First is if you are able to get it to turn on and blue screen only appears it will shut down as no signal noted.

If you can get it on with Mitsubishi remote : Menu, 1,2,3 enter

This is the soft reset and the set also has a hard reset.

Try the soft reset first and let me know what happens.

My T.V. Will power on for a couple seconds then immediately turn off! Please help!

Hi,
Unplug the unit from the outlet for at least 1 hour and check if the symptoms persists. If yes, check if the unit can give an error code by following the steps below.
- Power on the unit and wait until the initialization takes place.
- Press the front panel "Input" and "Menu" buttons at the same time and hold it for 5 seconds, it will activate the error code mode. LED flashes a two digit error code. Example, if the error code is "22" the LED will flashes two times pause and then flashes two times and will repeat the error code for 5 times.
"12" means no error has occured.
Please let me know what will be the result to assist you further.

All I get is a blue welcome screen on my Mitsu WD-65C9 DLP TV. After several seconds of blue screen, it always just shuts down. I downloaded the Mitsubishi software upgrade, but it did NOT solve...

Hi Mike,

May I know if the LED light at the front panel has a pattern of flashes or flashing continuously in green color.

Please check if you can access the "Self diagnostic screen" by following the steps below.
- To activate, press the front panel "Activity" and "Channel down" buttons at the same time and hold for 5 secs. The Status led will then flash a two digit code. Example, if the error code is "23" the led light flashes 2 times(blink, blink) pause and then flash 3 times(blink, blink, blink). Let me know the error code, it will help to diagnose where the fault came from.
Note : the TV must be in shutdown not switched off, or AC power cord is removed because the code will reset to "12" means no error. Use the front panel buttons not on the remote control. If you can't access the self diagnostic, press and hold the "Activity" button on the front panel for 5 secs before entering the "self diagnostic" code.

Kind Regards,

Mjsazon

I ordered the three repair kits for the WD62725 TV. I was having a "34" code and the local service provider said I needed a Format, signal, and power board. I replaced all of the caps provided in the kits....

Most likely a wire plug connection between the boards or where you unplugged one, as the code 12 means there isnt any errors with the set, so its almost certainly a wire connection double check the ribbon cables extra good.

Error code 15-380

15-380 means the exposure lamp in the scanner is not being senses.
Open the scanner and see if the lamp comes on.
If not, most likely the lamp has failed.
If it does come on, then the sensor or processor have failed.
