I was vacumming the coils under my whilpool side by side when I believe I heard a faint whistle along with a odorless thin white smoke that stayed low to the ground. The compressor is hot to the touch, yet the freezer is holding at 0. The center dividing wall where both doors meet and seal side by side is hot to the touch. All tubing is hat or warm as well. The back is cold though and the air flow is cold. Did I puncture the coil and have a R134 leak? Should I shut down the unit?

WOW! Did I ever luck out! I shut the unit down and inspected the coil, looking for any sign of leak and found nothing. I finished up the cleaning and started it back up. Apparently the sound I heard was something in the Shop-Vac hose and the smoke simply dust kicking out from the fan in the back. Thanks for all your help!!!

Yes it sound like you did puncture the refrigerant line to your unit, if you have a sorae refrigerator I would proceide in relocating the stuff and call a service company out to repair the leak.

Will only stay running on revs over 2000rpm if I take foot of peddle it cuts out also white smoke from exhaust

What is year--make--model?
Are you losing coolant? The white smoke may be coolant in the combustion cylinder, possibly caused by a head gasket problem. If head gasket problem, fix that first.

With idle issues, clean/check anything that has to do with idle air system. Any applicable trouble codes?

Volvo s60 2004 makes a whistling noise and engine light says P0300 random/ multiple misfire

You have to diagnose an ignition problem,
since you have the PO300 & misfires shown,
at least for many cylinders

Could end up just being one cylinder or several
that need whatever ignition parts control them

Individual Coils for each cylinder or a module that
applies to all of them

Wouldn't use the car until resolved
As it gets worse, you will ruin the exhaust converter

No idea on the whistle

My 2003 volkswagen passat has white/odorless smoke coming from engine when driven. Coming from left side near that huge hose thing.

I'd need to know exactly what the big hose thing is to give you a better diagnoses. But it may be an oil/fluid or water dripping onto the exhaust.

I recently bought a second hand grand voyager and occaisionally when the car is started a little symbol on the dash comes on and stays on. when it stays on and i come to the end of my journey, the car...

It means that the pre heat is in operation. It is a system that burns diesel to create heat to warm up engine quicker so that warm air comes into car sooner. The smoke is the exhaust gasses from the system and normally the whistleing and smoke stops when engine reaches running temperature or on short journeys approx 1 minute after engine is turned off
During summer when no heat is required and air con is on cooling it should not light even when starting from cold

hope this helps

No heat 1995 cutlass ciera

Ok quick fix........
This is a common GM problem. The heater will stop operating when the plastic vacume line is broken under the hood. It is an 1/8 inch black plastic vacume line running fron the intake manifold to a vacume check valve under the hood to the heater/AC assy located to the passenger side. You may also want to check the fuses under the dash to the blower motor. If the fuse is good take a Digital multi meter and check for voltage at the motor. If there is no voltage check the reistat in the blower hosing. It is a small rectangle plastic piece on the blower housing with two small screws. Check for voltage at the input and output side. If there is voltage check for resistance at the motor by unpluging the blower motor and probing the terminals to the motor. Tap the motor and see what type of fluctuation you get. Lastly if all that checks out and you have no voltage to the motor or reistat check the switch input and all three fan speed outputs. It could be a simple switch issue.
Good luck and let me know if you need further guidence.

Seriously, the main power supply has failed, and requires service. You are probably well past the warranty period, but check with the TV's service center - that information should be in the documents that came with the TV.
