Frusteration with "Invalid multimedia settings" on a Nokia

How do you Fix the settings on a Nokia? My Cellular Phone will not let me send Text Messages (I can recieve them). When I try to send a Text Message it says " Invalid Multimedia Settings. Check Settings". 
         Please Help me!

    I cannot send sms on nokia 2610 my phone doesn't show me nothing. but in top of network coverage in display was one G. after that was disappeared I cannot send messages.

Hey i had the same problem and found out how to fix it. If it sais "Invalid Multimedia settings. Check settings" then you have to follow these steps:
1. Go to message settings under messages at the main menu
2. Click Text messages
3. Go to Message center in use and select SMS settings

This is how i fixed my problem which was the same as alyluvsskitt's

Settings
you need to contact your service provider. just tell him/her the model of your phone (which is Nokia N73) and they'll send you settings via text message. just save the settings (you may prompted to enter pin code provided by network) and restart your device.
be sure to activate gprs first before sending multimedia messages..

Screwed up my phone I messed up all settings now it will not get on media net saying subscribe to packet data first and when send stuff from my text messaging it says invalid multimedia settings check...
reset your phone.. goto settings, factory settings and use default code 12345....enjoy

When sending TEXT Messages it gives error multimediat message settings not defined
you must select the option new text message to write and send text message...here u have selected the multimedia message sending option...for sending multimedia messages,u must have the settings from the service provider..u can obtain it from the service provider by contacting their customer care..

Check with your cellfone provider what the parameters are for sending MMS. It shouldnt be too different from that of your SMS.

Do you want to sent mms/sms. for sending mms you need to suscribe from your operator and save mms settings on your mobile.
For sms check your message center number with your network provider and input the number in your message setting option.

Check the message center no might be its wrong ... u can change it in the message settings .. call ur customer care and aske them the message center no they'l proviide you!!

best thing is to contact your sim operator and check with them if you have the correct settings for sending texts.
there they should give you the correct number to send txts.

My Nokia no longer sends text messages
well.. your your multimedia setting is incorrect you must ask your sevice provider he will configure you MMS setting. that's the only way to solve it don't worry it's not a serious problem ... have fun :)
