That could actually be tons of different things.

The first thing you want to start with is make sure that the cable from the computer to the monitor is plugged in.

After that, you want to make sure that the monitor is good. Try using either a different computer with that monitor or a different monitor with that computer.

If that doesn't fix it, let me know and we'll go from there.

What operating system are you using?

If it's Vista, you can pop your disk in, boot from it and it can fix your pc in a few guided steps.

Want to restore os and start over. Emachine t6524

Have you tried System Restore? Restart your computer and watch for the screen to give you instructions at the bottom. It will say something like: F1 = Boot Menu F10=System Restore
It should walk you through a factory restore, which means it will take it back to factory settings the same as when it was perchased.

Have an e machine t6524 that was rebooting itself now it won't boot up at all. Keeps beeping

Hardware fault. Simple test: if you can boot in the BIOS then the hard disk has died - replace it and reinstall. If you can't the the motherboard has failed - in the end it will be easier and cheaper just to get a new pc.

MY T6524, will not start I press the button and the hard drive light goes red then nothing comes on the monitor

Disconnect all devices from the power supply EXCEPT the motherboard
Remove any extra cards including video etc.(plug monitor into the onboard)

If you hear any beeps these can indictate where the fault is.
either of these sites below will help you further with that

Beep codes Pc

More beep codes

Power up the pc and see if the fans are working.
If not then double check the power connections to the board.

If you still have no fans it is time to suspect the power supply as the probable cause.

If the fans worked then you should have gotten a display which told you there was an error and offering you a chance to go into the BIOS. ignore it and shut down the PC.

Now connect one drive only and boot again.

Repeat that until you identify the component that is giving you a problem.

Once you find the problem then remove or disconnect and carry on with the rest to see if another component might also cause a problem

If there is only one problem device then you may want to investigate that device further, Unless you don't mind replacing it
