I've actually got a Sony Bravia KDL-46X3100 but I can't find the appropriate place to ask this.
Anyways when I turn my TV on it is perfectly normal for a couple of seconds and it turns off automatically. The lights flash 6 times between the 2 seconds of the lights not flashing. What's wrong with my TV and do I have to send it to Sony to fix?
This TV has a 1 year warranty and we brought this TV a year and 5 days ago. I'm sure I will never buy a Sony product ever again.

It is repairable but you have to hope it only got on one board--best thing to do in that case is instantly unplug set, take apart and dry with a hair dryer---to late now...........
Google the model number or look on shopjimmy.com who has a lot of boards--get an idea that way of what boards it has and what they cost.
It sounds like an Intergrated Circuit (IC) has fried. Even on a good day, this is not something you can attack at home. As a tech (and as an owner of that model samsung), I'd need a map & tools to know what's going on. Your best bet in this situation is to contact Samsung and let them recommend an authorized service center in your area. Sorry I can't be of more help, but this is a rather serious problem.
