Philips a3 610 remote

I have recently found my old Philips A3.610/00 speakers which are in prefect working condition. However, I couldn't find the remote and as I'v moved twice since finding them I don't this it's around. I have scoured the internet for a replacement but it doesn't look like they even sell the speakers anymore let alone the remote. The remote is required as you cannot change the input through any button on the main speaker (serious design flaw) Does anyone know where I could get my hands on a remote for these speakers? If not the original remote, would some kind of universal remove work? Thanks, Josh

If you can find a universal remote it could work however you would have to be able to locate or contact the manufacturer in order to get the codes need to pair the remote to the stereo. I'm not certain it work this way with stereos, I'm just assuming if you can do it with a tv you ought to be able to do the same with a stereo lol

Philips DCB146 NO SOUND!!

The answer is straightforward. The main power amp has gone. If you are lucky it's a single IC unit which you will find on a big heat sink. It might look like the one shown below.
You will of course need to de-solder it and resolder a new one. The type needed to replace it will be shown by the letters and number on the IC itself.

Which remote can replace my old broken remote of the philips A5.600

Most remotes that do not work can be fixed--I would go that route first.

To help you I need to know if only some buttons do not work or all etc.

The remote if some work can be tested: most shops have a card that the remote is pointed at--buttons pressed and the tester beeps or flashes a light---this can also be done with some digital cameras where the screen will flash when remote pointed at it when on to see if only certain or all buttons on the remote are working.

The remote sends a infrared signal and this can be seen.

If only a few (usually adjacent buttons) do not work something got spilled onto remote and got inside---this can also be easy.

Let me know as much as you can. (see make a comment button on this page)

Philips sbc md110 not working

Dear Sir:
Sometimes the remotes control, need to be reload.
Is a good idea to go to the web from Philips http://www.philips.com/c/catalog/catalog_selector.jsp and give your model, etc, and download the exactly code for your model imac. If you have some additional trouble you can get assistance from them. So they made the remote, and the RAM, has special design, and by that reason they can fix it, with better security.

sincerely. God bless you.

I have an old Philips 72cm color tv (+-20 years old) still working perfect!! My problem is, the remote isn't working anymore? The remote uses a 9 volt battery. The Tv is a type 28 CL 9430/732 50hz...

Hi Eddie, I know the type of remote you are after, I have been in this trade more than 30 years & know the type of TV. It is a problem trying to get universal remotes to work older equipment. My only suggestion is to try Philips direct on this website www.urc.philips.com. go to the Philips global option & follow the links to contact & support & try to either phone or e-mail them to enquire if there is a universal Philips type
remote that will work. Meanwhile if I can come across any other contacts, I will let you know.,
