I have a panasonic digital video camera NV-GX7 and want to capture the video to my computer (windows7 OS) Can you help with the drivers?

I would like to know if you can send me or advise me of the link to get the Drivers for my computer that operates on a Windows 7 OS? The problem is that the original disc for my camera is not comparable for XP or Windows7 operating systems and therefore programmes like Driver Detective does help.

SOURCE: putting video footage on my computer

To get your footage into the computer from DV tape you need a four pin firewire (IEEE1493 or iLink) cable from the camera to a six pin cable into the computer. USB will not do a proper job, it's for downloding photos or as you already mentioned, Web caming.

SOURCE: video stream driver

You might have to purchase a new program.  The drivers should be included in Windows XP automatically to get it to work.
Try pinnaclesys.com and studio will work with your camcorder.

SOURCE: Required USB Driver for mini dv Panasonic NV gs 15

The Panasonic NV gs 15 can only be used as a webcam with the USB cable.
You need a 1394 firewire / DV cable to transfer the video to your pc.

Do not have an installation CD. How can I transfer the captured video to my computer. Can I get the required driver for my panasonic NV-VZ18

Im assuming this is a tape camcorder. If so, you need to identify what type of tape it records onto.

I believe mini DV is the easiest to digitize. For that you need a IEEE 1394 input on your computer, and video capture software on you computer.

I cant say much about older tapes, except that most any tape there is some sort of external USB converter for a PC for about $30 (very roughly)

hope this helps!

give me your address and I will mail cd to you .
You need to use a fire wire cable and connect it to the computer. (of course you need to install the driver for the camera first).
After connecting the camera turn it on and youse any film making software to capture the movie from the camera and put it on the computer.

Software for panasonic digital camera nv-ds65

I have uploaded the camera driver here.
http://rapidshare.com/files/151262301/Driver.rar.html
Un rar the file and press the setup icon in the file.
After this the computer will recognize the camera and you will be able to use for example the moviemaker program to capture (transfer) the movies from your camera.
You can contact me if you need a more detailed instruction
