USB stuck inside (loose wire from cover?)

Hello, it seems like some wire or hook came off the slide cover over the USB, and now the USB refuses to pop up... Tried pulling it out with plyers, but its stuck inside.. probably because there's some-kind of stopper. I tried to open it up, but seems like the cover is really nicely assembled, that its impossible to open with out breaking it. If anybody could help me open the cover, or atleast get this USB to pop up? the mp3 player works fine, but cant get it recharged if this doesnt come out. Tried looking at USB cord extenders, but they arent slim enough to fit around the stuck port

SOURCE: mp3 player is 'dead' when disconnected from computer...

I had this problem myself. The solution is to take a fine, rigid object, like a paper clip, and use it to press the "reset" button, which is located just above the USB adapter on the device, and clearly marked.

SOURCE: file error

What's the music format of the songs that you placed on your mp3 player? Some MP3 Players only capable of playing song files with .mp3 extension and are incapable of playing other music format like wav, wma, etc. Check also the contents of the player for corrupted files and foreign files. Some viruses from a computer could affect the performance of your mp3 player.

SOURCE: mp3 will not connect with my computer

I'm pretty sure I fixed a similar problem. Go to your device manager on your PC and uninstall the walkman driver. After this is complete just plug the walkman back into you Pc and the plug and play will download the driver again. This worked for me. My operating system is Windows vista.

I bought the cd changer with my unit & two cds are stuck in it. This happened the third time I used the unit.

Hello,

this is a mechanism problem. Also, maybe something might have hooked the cd tray and made it stuck.

What you have to do now is to open the player by unscrewing the cover, so that you can gain access to the mechanism inside the player.

After you must have opened the cover, plug the cd changer to light, power it on and use you hand to pull out the tray while you press open button.

Also make observations on the disc tray while you press the open button and check the disc tray and look for what is making it stuck and refuse to open. This is why you need use your hand to support the disc tray by pushing it open from the inside.

I wish you good luck.

Sliding problem

Hello,
Sounds like you joggled something loose internally to me. Phones cant take much abuse before things start happening. See if you can pop a few covers off, pull the battery out and see if there is anything jammed in there. Plan B would be getting a new one. But I would try forcing it to slide in that direction before getting a new one. Goodluck! Hope this helps!

The hook on my latch assembly wont grab the loop on my hood.its stuck in the open possition. the cable doesnt return and the handle is loose. the truck is a 97 f-150 pick up.

the hood release cable is stuck inside the plastic sheath, you can try spraying with WD 40 repeatedly and let soak in between cable and sheath and using needle nose pliers gently try to slide cable back and forth but most likely the cable needs to be replaced.

T he problem was and allways will be broken wire . Maybe I should stop cutting hair and fix clippers
