I have a 2007 Mitsubishi WD-65731 LCD TV. I have relpaced the bulb for the third time, and now I have numerous black and white vertical lines, and sometimes just a total white screen. When it powers down the lamp button will bink green numerous times before shutting down completely. Does anyone know the problem? Please help.

SOURCE: Mitsubishi WD-52525 with green horizontal lines

You need to replace the capacitors on the FMT PWB this is a common problem with the V26 chassis which is what your model number is. They have some bad capacitors that need to be Changed. There is a repair Kit available for the FMT repair.Let me know if you would like the link for the repair Kit. Please respond to this same post if you do want the repair kit which does involve soldering.

SOURCE: Mitsubishi WD-65733 no picture, electrical buzzes in series

What it sound's like is that the lamp ballast is the problem. Buzzing sounds like when the power is first brought to the ballast it has to ramp up the voltage to get the lamp to light, then the voltage drops back down when the lamp is lit. Sounds like the lamp ballast isn't ramping up the voltage the way it should. May have to replace it. A good service shop would be able to do this for you.

SOURCE: WD-62327 Lamp

OSRAM VS. PHILLIPS
This is about buying replacement bulbs for the WD62327 TVs.I dont know about the other models but I purchased a PHILLIPS replacement bulb and it worked for about a week and then those dumb flashing lights and no TV. I did some research and others were saying that you had to replace some condensers. Shop would do it for 600 dollars..Well i sent the bulb back and bought an OSRAM replaement bulb. The TV is now working perfect.

I have a mitsubishi wd 77731 tv and the screen turned completely white with white vertical lines. what happen?

If your Mitsubishi WD-77731 TV screen has turned completely white with white vertical lines, it is possible that there may be a fault in the display panel or the video processing circuitry of the TV. This could be caused by a variety of issues, including a faulty LCD driver board, a loose or damaged video cable, or a problem with the TV's power supply.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try to determine the cause of the problem:
  1. Check the video input: Ensure that the video input to the TV is working properly by connecting a different video source, such as a DVD player or game console, to the TV.
  2. Check the video cables: Inspect the video cables that connect your video source to the TV for any damage or loose connections. If you find any damage, replace the cable.
  3. Power cycle the TV: Turn off the TV and unplug it from the power outlet for 1-2 minutes. Then, plug the TV back in and turn it on to see if the issue persists.
  4. Check for firmware updates: Check the Mitsubishi website to see if there are any available firmware updates for your TV. Updating the firmware may help to resolve any software-related issues.
If none of these steps resolve the issue, it is recommended that you contact a professional TV repair service to diagnose and fix the problem.

Why is there vertical black and white strips on my mitsubishi wd65731 65" HDTV?

You have a problem with the Formatter Board. This is placed between the Light Engine and the Fan. If you are planning to do this your self, before you buy make sure you get the right part since there are 2 different boards. This part cost about $60 and it is relatively easy to install. It requires patience, latex gloves, pointy pliers and both types of screw drivers.

Mitsubishi wd 65731, replaced bulb, after about 10 minutes screen starts turning yellow

If the screen is turning yellow from the centre out, then the blue LCD unit is burning up. Check that there is good airflow to cool the optics. It will not recover if that is what has happened unfortunately.
