When you turn it on press the set up/menu button. Make sure your cable is unplugged first. When in set up, go to channel setup and scan channels. Once the scan has started connect your cable back to the tv. Allow some time for the scan to complete. ***I learned this when I emailed a dynex technician. If it does not work after the above, email dynex http://www.dynexproducts.com/contact-us.html
first check if there an input for the PC CPU monitor , if there please connect the cable to it , but it may differ form the cable connection ,i mean that the cable connection may be male and the LCD connection may be male so yuo shuold use male/female converter
I hope this helps. You have to connect your sound bar to your cable box/satellite tv receiver. If you are connecting with composite or component cables you connect the video cables (either the yellow or the green blue and red cables) between the television and the cable box /satellite tv receiver. Then you connect the red and white audio portion of the cable between the cable box/satellite tv receiver and the sound bar. You are going from the OUTPUT of the cable box/satellite tv receiver to the INPUT on the television and sound bar. You use the function/source/input button on the sound bar to choose the space you plugged the cables into on it or listen to the radio or listen to your IPOD and etc.
I see that you mentioned you screen flashes ON and OFF then finally works if not used for a while.
>Try changing the screens refresh rate, I see you have a 19" Flat Panel LCD, set the Refresh rate to 59hz if it set to 60Hz or above.
>Also try chanigin you resolution maybe a lower resolution if you have it set to the highest, or if you have it set to the lowest try setting it to at least a higher resolution possibly 1280x 780 for a 19 inch.
>Also try to see if there anre any lose cable from the LCD to the computer try reseating those cables just to make sure that everything is connected properly.
