My refrigerator stopped cooling and the overload relay/capacitor made a loud humming sound every few minutes then shut off. I replaced the overload relay/capacitor and the fridge worked properly for a few hours until the internal temperature of the refrigerator hit approximately 46 degrees. Now, the same humming noise is heard, and the fridge is, once again, not cooling at all. The overload relay/capacitor can still be heard every few minutes, but I don't know/think the compressor is working. I turned off and unplugged the refrigerator overnight. It started up fine again, but when the temperature gets close to cold enough, it makes the same sounds and won't cool any further or at all.

My freezer works fine, the frigerator is not cooling. We use to have it set at 3, now its on the highest and everything goes bad really fast. Ive tried going back to 3 but there is no change in the temperature
Refridgerator running continuously for two days without ON&OFF.When the fixed temperature is reached the compressor does not stop running. Before that a door knocking sound was being heard. In the back door side near compressor cool air is coming out. What is the problem? Why not compressor gets started and stop according to the fixed temperature to maintain the temperature?
it was also making a noise when not cooling now has stopped
makes a loud noise all the time when operating to cool. once cool, is quiet until the compressor kicks in again.
