A while ago I had replaced a bad G board and the TV now works, but ever since then I've had an issue where the picture is scrambled when I power it on and it gets progressively better until the picture becomes clear about 15-20 minutes later. The TV also has no sound initially and displays the "No Signal" message at the bottom of the screen. The sound goes in and out for about 5 minutes and is fine after that. As long as the TV stays on, there are no issues after that initial warmup. Also worth noting is that none of my HD inputs work properly. When no devices are connected to the inputs the screen displays alternating bright green and black/dark horizontal lines about a 1/4" wide. When I connect my computer to the DVI input the picture is gray and shows a pretty far offset double picture. The same goes for all HD inputs (5, 6 & 7). I had been told that issues which go away after warming up may indicate bad capacitors. However, after visual inspection of the multiple circuit boards I did not see any bulging or leaking caps. And since the issue with the HD inputs never goes away anyway, I am considering replacing the signal board (A board) but was hoping that someone may have some insight into a possible fix before I run off spending money that I don't have to. I am capable of component-level repairs but my testing equipment is limited to a digital multimeter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! J.

Hi there,
I am having a similar problem with the inputs. I have a cable box plugged in to cable antenna, DVD to video 6 using HDMI, Mac computer plugged in to video 7 - using HDMI (TV does not recognize this) and then Nintendo Wii hooked up to Video 1. My problem is that Sony only realizes 2 additional components like the video 1 (wii) and DVD on video 6, it does not play the other components. I have to niw manually switch the cables to have them work...
