Remove all the contents from the freezer. Next is remove the the shelves of the freezer by lifting the front of the shelf and then pulling the shelf out of the freezer. Remove screws on the left and right side of the curved panel, located on the bottom of the back panel. Remove the curved panel.
Lift the bottom of the air tower cover, located in the center of the freezer's back panel, straight back and pull the air tower cover down to remove it. Remove the screw from the left side of the evaporator fan opening and from the panel in the upper-left side of the freezer's back panel and pull the back panel toward you and out of the freezer.

Water leaking from freezer to bottom refrigerator.

sounds like the drain in the lower rear behind panel in freezer is frozen up. Remove back panel in freezer and check. If it is remove ice and pore hot water in end of drain till it runs free. if it won't run after clearing all ice check in rear of fridge behind compressor cover and find the lower end of drain and see it is blocked.

How do u access the defrost heater of the maytag mbb2256ges bottom freezer? from the rear of the fridge or remove the inner freezer panel?

Good day,
You access it from the front removing the rear panel in the freezer compartment.

Note: the heater may have failed, but has a very low failure rate.
If the machine is not defrosting, the timer and defrost thermostat ( sometimes called a limiter) are just as if not more often the problem.

My referator -freezer GE - TBf17 makes a chirping sound in the back

You need to replace the fan motor , pt. # WR60X190 . Remove the food and the ice maker ( if equipped ) , and remove the grill at the top left on the freezer panel ( pops out ) . Remove the 2 screws holding the rear freezer panel on , and remove the panel . You may have to remove the white housing to replace the motor , or just remove the fan mounting bracket screws , to remove the fan for replacement .

The freezer compartment leaks into the refrigerator behind the light on our TBX18TAZCRWH

Remove the food and the ice maker ( if equipped ) from the freezer . Remove the 2 screws holding the bottom panel , and the 2 screws holding the rear freezer air duct and remove these parts . Slide the styrofoam vent up and out . Remove the rear freezer panel . Using a hair dryer , in the middle , just below the coils , defrost , until you see the drain hole . Keep defrosting this hole ( hot water helps ) , until water starts to flow thru . Using a small hose inserted into the drain hole , blow thru , to remove any unseen debris in the line . Remove any ice in the freezer section . Re-assemble .

F&P Active Smart E521TRE Removing freezer back panel

My fridge (E440T but I believe the E522B is similar) had a broken fan wire and i had to pull off the rear panel and re-solder a wire. I created a document for others to follow that shows the rear panel removal if interested at http://www.accentis.com.au/downloads/misc/How I fixed my Fisher and Paykel Fridge Active Smart Fridge.pdf

Thanks to all postings on this site - it really helped a lot.

Water leaking and freezing in bottom of freezer

You will have to remove the rear evaporator shroud. The drain system is accessed from the interior freezer compartment; you will see several Phillips screws holding the rear panel to the freezer rear wall. Remove the rear panel and clear the drain system by removing the ice build up and poor boiling water down the drain to melt and residual ice and to assist in removing any debris that may be blocked in the drain system. Once the drain is clear you will notice water flowing down the drain as you poor it in. Please keep in mind that the defrost drain pan located under your Refrigerator may overflow if there is an excess amount of water
