Cameras, especially film cameras, do not use "SIM" cards. There were some models of Minolta film cameras that used exposure cards for auto-settings but only cellular phones and devices with cellular interfaces (iPads) use SIM cards. Here's a copy of the Maxxum 5 manual if that helps.
It would appear from other sites and users that the anti-shake mech has failed and the cost to repair outweighs the value so I will stick with my SonyA700, sell the lenses and filters I dont need and scrap the body. Thanks for the reply.
Hey arnelsartwor, To set both exposure and flash bracketing you need to press the drive mode button, and then use the up/down arrows to select bracketing and then use the right/left arrows to highlight the drive mode option and then press the center button to select the desired drive mode. These instructions are on page 50 of your user manual. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Allan Go Ahead. Use Us.
It sounds like that's the first black frame problem that is a fairly common defect with the cameras, so much so that Sony is repairing it for free, for more info, see:
It sounds like a CPU chip incompatability issue. Sigma has that problem sometimes but are usually very good about rechipping at no cost (at least for Nikon-mount lenses). What did they say when you asked them?
