You're absolutely right. If you look at the wiring diagram on the machine it is clear that the drain pump is powered by triac on PCB (part code C00270972).
I think it is definitely safer and probably cheaper to replace than to repair the PCB.
It is always a good practice to visually inspect PCBs that there are no visible defects such burnt out elements, etc. before replacing. Sometimes the reason for burnout PCB may be on a completely different side.

if there is power to the main board but nothing out of it its huighly possible it needs a new main board.

I am afraid that you will find it is virtually impossible to obtain a wiring diagram for your washer.
These are normally only available to their own sevice engineers,
You could try contacting the company, and see if they have a service manual that they are prepared to sell you, but don't hold your breath.

The wire you refer to is an earth wire, it has probably pulled of the motor or the frame of the m/c.
If you can't see where it came from, don't worry too much, all you need to do is fasten it to a metal part of the m/c so that is is making a contact to earth.
I assume that you can get a belt o/k
Make sure that the drum and motor are free before you fit new belt.

if you mean the wires that go to the back of the drum from left to right= green circle=brown wire pushon tellow/green(earth) square =2 lite blues yellow circle=dark blue if this isnt what you needed please respecify and ill do my best to answer ,ian if you add to this post it will inform me for a faster reply
