Toshiba 3511 color print problems

Black toner prints fine, but anytime you print color nothing lines up. I tried the calibration but it doesn't seem to help. Maybe i'm doing the calibration process wrong?

Hi,

Hope it's not the calibration. This could happen due to transfer belt timing problem. There are sensors and reflectors inside the transfer belt assembly. They may be dirty. Clean them or replace the transfer belt if required.

You should probably have a technician look at it and see if there is anything going on with the optics of your copier.

SOURCE: Toshiba e-studio 3511 has printing issued on one

These copiers have serious toner dust issues. Light copies are usually caused by dust in the optics (the mirrors) and on the laser glass.
Take off the main copy glass and gently clean all the mirrors and scan bulb underneath it - be careful.
If you remove the drum unit and look inside the cavity you took it out of you will probably find a huge toner mess. the laser glass is situated in this cavity and needs to be cleaned - just clean whatever you can see...

How to fix toshiba photo copy machine not printing black and white but printing color and the black toner is full

If your Toshiba photocopier is not printing in black and white but is printing in color, there are a few possible causes and solutions to try. Here are a few things you can try:
  1. Make sure the machine is set to print in black and white. Some photocopiers have a setting that allows you to choose between color and black and white printing. Check the settings on your machine to make sure it is set to print in black and white.
  2. Check the toner cartridges. If the black toner cartridge is full but the machine is still not printing in black and white, there may be a problem with the cartridge. Try removing the cartridge and shaking it gently to redistribute the toner inside. Then, clean the contacts on the cartridge and the machine to ensure they are making good contact.
  3. Check the fuser unit. The fuser unit is responsible for heating and fusing the toner onto the paper. If the fuser unit is not working properly, it can cause the machine to not print in black and white. Check the fuser unit for any damage or debris, and clean it if necessary.
  4. Check for any error messages. If your machine is displaying any error messages, try to troubleshoot the problem based on the specific error message. You may be able to find the meaning of the error message and a solution in the user manual for your machine.
  5. If none of these solutions work, you may need to contact Toshiba for technical support or service. They may be able to help you diagnose and fix the problem with your machine.

Error code cf30 in toshiba 3511 what its mean and how can fix it

(CF30) - Reference plate detection voltage abnormality: The output
value of the color auto-toner sensor against the reference plate
is out of a specified range at the light amount correction during
an auto-toner adjustment or when a print job has finished.

Your color auto-toner sensor and reference plate are located under the input tray cover on the left side of the copier when you are facing it. It is on a bracket that hangs down into the copier and sits close to the revolver inside the machine. It is an optical sensor and if either it or the reference plate get stained with toner it will give you this error message, you may attempt to clean them with rubbing alcohol.

This error message may also occur if the solenoid that drives the reference plate is faulty so you will need to check that as well.

I would sincerely recommend that you get an authorized toshiba technician to take a look at the machine for you as this is a fairly difficult problem to fix right.

Hi, My Toshiba E-Studio 3511 color copier has a error message of 'dispose of used toner.' Even if I followed the direction, the error message is still there and the copier can't work. Would you help me...

I am assuming you have emptied the old waste toner "box" and not replaced it with a new box. This is not a problem, just clarifying. If this is the case then you have toner packed into the sensor block which is telling the machine that the waste toner box is still full. Just look behind the waste toner box and look for a little set of wires. They lead to a small black sensor. Now look at the waste toner box where it mates up with the sensor. You will see a small square box area on the waste toner bottle. The sensor looks thru this block and if it is blocked with toner it will tell the machine the box is full. Just tap on the little block and make sure there is no toner in it and re-install the waste toner box and the indicator should go away.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.

HP Laser Jet 4700n-Light printing on right side of paper. Removed all cartridges and toner, cleaned and recalibrated after start up. Still light printing on right side. Any suggestions??

Is the light printing the same for black and white vs color? Light printing on a side is not uncommon for these printers. It is usually caused by the laser optics getting dirty. But this usually shows up more in one color than the other. Such as something printed in yellow is fine while red is faded on one side. If the light on the right side printing is the same on all colors including black then I would suspect something with your transfer unit.
If you do notice that it us just on black or another color then it is definately time to get the laser optics cleaned.
